Hello all,

I've just found out about this new show called desi girl....i'll be catching up all the past episodes over the weekend...can someone here please tell me, what is this show about , and in a nutshell sum up the goings on in the show...sorry for the trouble...and thanks in advance..😳

Hey Mech 🤗 Seeing u after a longtime since PB n RDLJ days..How have u been?

Well the show is abt these 8 girls from Mumbai and their experience in a (not so) remote village in Punjab. They are paired up in two and are alloted a household in the village to live. Then they end up helping the ppl in the household with their daily chores and also perform some tasks, like making a scraecrow or cooking food. There have been two eliminations so far (Rucha and Anmol) and a big fight between Sambhavna n Kashmera, bcoz they were supposed to change their houses as per the rules of the game. ItIts a fun show, u shld watch it...it's shows just what happens when a lot of women get together 😆

I think ekta ji summed it up pretty welll =] Each girl gets a new house and a new partner every week I think. I think it's still unknown what the winner of this show will get. Oh and during elimination, the girls vote individually for who gets to leave [most of the times, the girls get together and plan it]. Then the bottom two girls [who get voted for elimination] have to give justification before the village heads for why they deserve to stay. Then those village "leaders" decide to they want to kick out.

I know we are not supposed to be talking about other shows here.... but if you guys watched Star Parivar awards.... Sudesh Rani, Hitesh and Rumpa were present at the awards ceremony because Hitesh-Sudesh rani were nominated as Favorite Contestent of reality show.... but they didnt win.......:-)

some girl from some music talent show won :-) and hitesh was trying to pacify his mom who was smiling wickedly.......but really they got something out of that show.... fame (atleast they are attending award shows) and a daughter in law!!!!!! what more do they want......hahaha
