Sadhna has always had a calming effect on Alekh...she eases his tensions and fears...she brings equilibrium to his world. The key factor in this has always been trust. Once Sadhna earned Alekh's trust, which happened not long after their marriage, he started listening to her...sure...it wasn't always smooth sailing...and since he was abnormal back then, he didn't always do as she said...she was still able to handle him, calm him down...her opinion always mattered to him then...

Now that Alekh has been through the storms..seen every side of every person, learned of everyone's true colors...his real personality is emerging...and I'm glad it is different than Ranvir...I enjoy the contrast, because they are BOTH right in what they do and say...both their actions are now acceptable...

Alekh is very much the "must resolve this matter anyway, anyhow, and soon" person...he listens to what everyone has to say now...and he reacts calmly and with his composure intact...

Even in their bedroom...Alekh didn't fall into pathos of sentiments and write a whole obituary for Indu and their family's future...he probably knew what direction he wanted to take in this matter...got reaffirmation that it was the right direction to take from his wife, and he proceeded to act on it...

Beautifully handled in my opinion by the creatives...Alekh has a personality of his own, and so does Ranvir...

Alekh...being heavily influenced by Sadhna...reacted calmly...since their reunion...I've noticed he has become very calm and level headed...even in the most heated of circumstances...he deals with problems quietly...

In their own rooms...you could see how each couple is unique...Alekh stood quietly while Sadhna tried guiding him, and showing him directions...Ranvir let out the boiling emotions within him, and Ragini allowed him to do so, lending her support the only way she knew how...

I'm glad that no matter where this show is headed, how popular it is or isn't...these characters all have clearly defined personalities...

Wow, so beautifully said & logically analyzed. Everyone has such good points on this matter, but you've really brought Alekh & Ranvir's characters in the correct perspective. Indeed Alekh deals with problems quietly, he is also reflective and his decisions require alot of thinking. While Ranvir is the passionate type as you said, he is also emotionallly driven and led by his heart to make almost instant decisions.

But this is what makes them unique in their own right, selfless and fearless in their own ways. As siblings they compliment eachother well, and provide a strong platform for their family. They are as pillars on opposite sides, without one, the foundation weakens..

both of them...Ranveer and Alekh are justifiable, as per their character sketches from the beginning and then keeping Alekh's life experiences about people. Alekh probably had the worst experiences and sufferings from the people he trusted...CM and Vasu. That brought about the wisdom in him. Ranveer is passionate about what he thinks..he never supports wrong, and never cares who does that wrong?

Sadhna has a calming effect not only on Alekh, but on everyone...when every relationship was going wrong for her, she was the one who stuck to that relationship and maintained its integrity, as a result her partner , whether Ragini, Alekh, Vasu, Kaushi, all when they came back found their old relationship intact from Sadhna's side. She is a true Laxmi...

They are playing the role of being eldest in the family very well with great poise and composure. I loved all the scenes between them especially the part where she explains to alekh about taking the responsibility of com fronting his father. This truly is wonderful and they way they understand eachother is also quite remarkable .
