A leading social networking site was all set to lose millions of groups and users who threatened to quit the site since they were unhappy with its 'loose privacy' policy. The CEO of the site had to promise the users that the privacy policy would be revised and personal information about individuals would not be made as easily accessible as it is now. Are social networking sites getting too intrusive? Are celebs happy with their fans getting into their personal space? How much is too much for them? PT found out some interesting answers...

Rukhsar: I'm on a popular social networking website and haven't encountered any problems so far. But I limit my use to just twice a week. I don't think one should give out personal information on social networking websites. As long as you are sure of your list of friends and who you are interacting with, I don't see any problem coming your way. One should be careful.
