and as far as why she left well after the divorce she wasnt granted his custody and since sam had anger and hatred for her in his heart at the time he may reject her - perhaps this fear never made her strong enough to try and get through to her son
but now when he called her she finally could have him back.. i guess she asked him 2 come stay with her in exchange 4 d money
however this accident changed everything and hence she came here instead 2 stay with him , take care of & support him

the cliff scene totally agree - it was his own subconscious mind ... he was hearing things his mind wanted him to see but in the form of gunjan

i dunno if u have read twilight but thr Bella the heroine in book 2 new moon does things like this after her love Edward leaves as he thinks he'd mean her death she purposely faces death and all those things .. as in those moments she could hear him... her being in danger made her feel he is protecting her

plus hun sam to me has always seemed like a tough fighter with the past he has been given .. so yes thou trying to die - it isnt hell or heaven he is concerned for - but he is choosing rather the tougher punishment for himself - to live everyday and die a thousand deaths - than die once and be free from it all

i am truly bowled over by this brilliant turn in his characterization - as i have said complex characters fascinate me and he just got murkier would love to see his turn around now with the help of Gunjan

okk thank god i got time to post on this topic...u know aahana its so beautiful the way u have interpreted sam's mom...initially i thought she is grey but all posts in this topic make me getting so positive vibes...gosh that wud be lovely.i loved sam's bonding with suhani as a bro...but cvs didnt use that too nicely.i JUST wish they do complete justice to atleast his mom's character..!! i so agree with all ur words aahana in yasri's reply...as u said the way his mom made to sleep him in dark when a child coz he was scared to do so shows that she wishes him to be a fighter.
i think she can be the one who can convince mayank for joining excel...n as u said..the only way sam can recover is with the help of mayank and gunjan.somehow i dont know but why i think gunjan is gonna enter the new season as a councellor/psychologist in college.
sam's mom is the one who appoints her and she asks gunji to have a session with sam before students(to help him out of his depression n suicidal tendencies).dont know but my imaginations are growing too much...😆.
then aahana justed wanted to ask u...what abt a scene like jaane tu??? ofcourse all of us have seen the beautiful movie..n one of its most impactful scenes is when imran khan breaks himself infront of his mom n she soothens him by giving him a warm hug...my goodness thats a powerpacked performance from both actors. wud love to see a same scene in mjht with sam n his mom too...what say???😉

the gang needs a parental figure now the most .. in such a crisis who can guide them thru and i think they couldnt have had a better time to finally have Sam's mom in d show as i think he is a wreck and needs support

yes hun she never can see her son go down and hence always made him face his fears .. she will make sure to get back gunjan and mayank in his life too
