Why is Katrina so averse and uncomfortable with speaking Hindi? Good lord, she's working in the Hindi film industry, so what's up with the insistence to conduct interviews in English? 😕 If she would've just uttered a few lines in Hindi, even with an accent, what difference would it make? :S All this 'controversy' is really self-wrought...by being so persistent about not speaking Hindi, she only draws attention to it. And the very reason why she hasn't gotten fluent in Hindi despite working in Hindi movies for many years is that she doesn't bother speaking casually, which is how you pick up a language fastest.

This is what I think. If a person isn't born and brought up in India, then Hindi would not be first language for them to speak, so I can understand why she's not comfortable speaking it in the interviews. Clearly if she doesn't speak it in her daily life, then she doesn't want to say something in the interviews and end up making a fool of herself.

The video was hilarious with Ranbir being asked to translate for her and loved how he said 'main ullu ki patthi hoon'...All of them seem to get along well together...

she has been on the industry for seven years! its time she starts speaking fluent hindi, even with the accent. I love her but not speaking hindi even though she is working in a hindi film industry is getting annoying and it just doesn't look good for a bollywood actress. putting all aside, I loved this and laughed throughout it. they all seem very a fun and easy going bunch.

she is way too consious of her hindi. .if she just let loose , i think she wont have to deal with these constant remarks. Even when he askled her to say the dialouge in promo, she made excuse...just say it, wat's the worse that can happen..they will again criticize her hindi..big deal!!!!!!!!! oh never mind, she said it later on...and it wasnt bad at all!😕 and oh wow to Arjun's abs😲⭐️😛😉

may be she just want to save all her hindi only for her films, but no one can deny it that there no language as much comfortable as ur mother tongue, so may be consciously or sub-consciously she prefers english
