Badi ma hadn't been lucky as far as her married life is concerned. She married someone (Ishwar) who inspite of living with her for 15 years and giving children never really loved her. Her presence never mattered to him and eventually he left. Poor Badi ma still cannot move on. She cries in pain even after so many years, neither can she forgive not forget. When everyone is asleep she sits alone holding the remaining of her unfaithful husband and thinks of the life that she could have if circumstances were different and in her favor.
Suhana may not share an intense relationship with Sidh as badi ma had with her husband but still she did love Sid deeply. She trusted the guy with her fragile heart but he backed out during the time of commitment. After spending so much time with him, after sharing all her joys and sorrows she realized he never really loved her, she was more of a show off for him. He refused to tie the knot with her and left her stranded. Suhana the same way as Badi ma is not able to forgive Sid neither she forgets. We see her waking up in the middle of the night cursing him and crying out in pain. She too thinks how different her life would have been if Sid really cared of her and asked her hand for marriage.
After watching the last scene between Suhana and Badi ma, the thought stuck me if they are in the same page. So do you think Suhana can relate to badi ma? Is their situations somewhat same?
