I dont watch her recent shows but you can catch Ekta's older shows on youtube. They were different, more modern, maybe too bold with multiple marriages, even her heroines married twice/thrice. 😆

1. Kaisa Yeh Pyar hai....totally modern love story of a playboy rockstar and a simple small town girl who comes to Mumbai to sing. Love/Hate/Passion/Revenge/Murder... everything included! Amazing chemistry of leading couple! 😳
2. Kahin Toh Hoga......Passionate love story which begins as sizzling office romance and goes on to family melodrama and revenge track. Amazing chemistry of leading couple again!
3. Kutumb: Love/Hate story of two strong-minded individuals who are forced to marry under difficult circumstances. Hero is a spoiled rotten playboy type, heroine is proud and spirited. Gauri-Hiten at their best!
As for the special word when a girl in born: Theyre called Ghar Ki Laxmi ..
There was a serial on Zee 3 yrs ago called :Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyaan....which portrayed how the family's daughters are loyal to parents while the much coveted son destroys the family.
In that show the father married twice to get a WAARIS and both his wives lived in the same house. The older wife had 4 daughters, thats why the guy married twice. Turned out in the end that the son he got from 2nd wife wasnt his either.... 😆 😆
i remember that show ghar ki laxmi because i watched the last few months of it and really liked it. there was one sister on their whose name i do not remember but she always rebeled againist the father in law and did what she wanted. i really liked her character. i did not watch the show from the beginning but i went of the air last summer. good show.
