So there are two things that still have to come out between Gopi and Ahem,
1) when he finds out that she knows about Anita and his past?
2) when he learns that she is illiterate?
What will he do, how will he react and will he still stand by her or just leave her at the will of his mother and ignore her for the most part like he does everyone else in his life.
I had a bit of respect for him when he was stern with Anita and told her that there is no "us" anymore. he's obviously moved on.......but Anita was right to when she said did you ask your mother before you fell in love with me.
Its true, how come boys in our culture can think that its okay to play with a girls heart and then as soon as mother dear tells them to get married to another girl, they can jsut walk away and not care anymore about te girl who they "pretended" to love.
I can see a lot more heartache for Gopi in the future as Ahem is going to be idsugusted that she doesn't even know how to read.....although I would rather him be supportive of her and ask her to learn.
