Shweta's favourite actors are Arjun, Rati and Karan Wahi.... I have written a one - shot on Arjun and Rati including little of Karan Wahi... I am not sure how it has turned out to be... Normally whenever we write something, we consult each other for suggestions, but this time I wanted this to be a surprise for her birthday; so I just hope it is manageable to read!! Please do give your wishes for Shweta and also comment and criticise on the one - shot....

SURPRISES UNFOLDED!!!– ARTI ONE SHOT
Destiny wanted two of the best actors – Arjun and Rati to meet and be together for lifetime. Arjun – the confident, fun – loving, humorous actor with dimples to die for was adored by all and Rati – the beautiful, natural, simple and charismatic actress used to mesmerize all. These two met on the sets of a television serial where they were supposed to be working together essaying the characters of Mayank Sharma and Nupur Bhushan. The show became a hit and so did the onscreen as well as the offscreen couple. Loved by all for their scenes which potrays hundreds of emotions, these two embark on a journey together. New co – stars came and went, the show wrapped up its season 1 but Arjun and Rati were always together – first as friends then best friends then a couple very much in love and now soulmates.
Arjun and Rati were married for a year. While onscreen she was Mrs. Nupur Mayank Sharma, off-screen she became Mrs. Rati Arjun Bijlani. It was not easy for both of them as they could hardly give time to each other due to the constant shoots which went up to late night. But, they both adjusted and decided not to keep any work on Sundays so that they could spend time with each other. There were other problems too like link – ups with other co – stars etc but still their love survived everything. They may not be with each other all the time but they were in each others' thoughts. Life was beautiful for them with each other's support.
One Sunday Morning,
Rati woke up at 7 a.m. hoping to see Arjun's cute baby face that he has while sleeping and his whining when she tries to get up. But, she was disappointed because Arjun had already got up. She went into the living room waiting for a glimpse of 'her' Arjun and the sweetest good – morning kiss but again she was disappointed. When she turned to go into the kitchen, something caught her eye. She went to the table and found a red rose and a note there.
"Good Morning Honey,
I know you are missing my good – morning kiss but I got a message from the director early morning that I need to give an urgent shot with Mohit. It may take around 5 – 7 hours. Did not want to wake you up as you had a late – night shoot yesterday and you were sleeping peacefully. Will call you during my break – time. Take Care. Luv Ya….. Try not to miss me a lot!!!

Rati's smile widened with the last line. This was Arjun – the guy who knew how to make Rati feel the most special girl in this whole world. She felt blessed to have him.
Rati freshened up and prepared break – fast for herself waiting for Arjun's call and preparing herself for a boring and a monotonous Sunday. (But, she was soo wrong!!)
Suddenly, the door bell rang,
When Rati opened the door,
She found a guy holding a bouquet filled with Pink, Red, Yellow and White Roses. Arjun had recently won the 'Best Actor' Award and the congratulatory cards and roses were a routine ever since. She gladly accepted the roses and opened the card attached to the bouquet. But, the note read,
"Dearest Rati,
You are very special to someone who lives to see your smile, who dances on seeing you laugh, who knows you more than you do and who can do anything for you. Keep Smiling!! You are my life Dear!! " - Arjun
Rati was surprised and elated at this. She just did not expect such a beautiful surprise from Arjun. Suddenly, she got a message. She opened to read it.
" Hey Sweety… Liked the roses??? Could not call you during the break cos I was preparing for the next scene…. Jus wanna say, MISSING YOU LIKE HELL…. Cya soon… TC… Luv u…."- Arjun
With a beautiful smile adorning her face, she replied to his message…
" Ya dear, Missin you!!! Come back soon…. Luv u…."
Rati thought of seeing some movie to kill time till Arjun comes back home. But, when she opened the shelf containing CDs of different movies, she saw one CD titled 'Arjun – Rati Lovely Moments'. She was confused as to what CD is this as she has never seen it before. When she played it, she realized that Arjun had made a beautiful CD of all their wonderful moments together from their first meet, their off-screen interviews together, their onscreen romantic scenes, marriage and also photos of Life after Marriage. But, Arjun never told Rati about it. Just then her cell beeped….
"Hey Rats, you must have got really bored WITHOUT ME and must have opened the CD rack to see some good movie and now must be hell – confused after seeing our moments together… Haina?? ;) Gosh, I know you sooooooo well….!!!! Back in a while…. ? - Arjun"
Rati was shocked … How can Arjun know her so well??? She had thought her Sunday to be boring but it was far from boring. She smiled at this feeling of being loved so much by some – one.
Few hours passed,
Arjun was still not back home. Rati thought that as he will be really tired, she should make something to refresh him. As she opened the refrigerator to make Arjun's favorite mango milk – shake, she saw a big box of her favorite chocolates lying there. There was a note attatched saying,
"A sweet gift for the sweetest girl who has come in to my life to make it sweeter!!! Now, please give me a sweet smile, my sweetheart….!!"
Rati grinned widely reading this. This was Arjun – who may be miles away from her but he will assure that Rati is happy and smiling wherever she is. Arjun cannot imagine his life without Rati. He was, is and will always be the one who understands her thoroughly and supports her. For Arjun, Happiness of Rati = No Compromise!!! Through his adorable actions, he always gives her the proof that she made the best choice in falling in love with him. Roses, Candles, Chocolates – Arjun is the most romantic and the perfect husband!!!
The bell rang…

A: Hi Darling, How did you spend your day???
R: With your surprises!!! (Rati answered with a wide smile)
A: (grinning) Oh!! By the way, I got a film offer.
R: What?? Really?? Who is the director?? When are you going to start?? How…..
A: Mrs. Rati Arjun Bijlani , you are so much in to the character of Nupur Mayank Sharma…. Morena Express!! (giggling)
R: Shut up Jun, and tell me about the movie…
A: Okay, It is basically a movie about two brothers and their life story .I am playing the eldest brother
R: Who is playing your younger brother??
A: You know na, My friend Karan Wahi.
R: WOW!!! That's great!!!
A: Ya, by the way, just for your information, after a week it is Karan's birthday.
R: Really?? Hmmm… He is a Gemini. Do you know Geminians are normally versatile, witty, eloquent and lively?? ( Shweta, this is for you since your zodiac sign is Gemini…!!!)
A: Okay. Miss Know-It-All, Gosh When will your love for horoscopes leave you??
R: Whatever Arjun… Anyways… Go and freshen up now…
A: Okay…
Thus, even though Arjun was busy with his shooting, he made sure that Rati's day is full of surprises!!!!!
