In short, IHLS comes across as a fresh and juicy love story, and Imraan agrees with the description. "It's a modern-day love story. It will definitely appeal to youngsters and those in their 20s and 30s," he says.
We told him that the promos suggest that there is no parental interference. "Yes, you are right. There is no parental lafda in the film," he said, "Old Hindi films, specially love stories, feature parents having some problems. Either the boy's side doesn't like the girl or the problem is with the girl's side. But times have changed, and love stories have changed. They have an internal problem now, which is at the centre of IHLS," says Imraan.
Working with Sonam was fun for Imraan. "We had a great time. She is a great actress, and has excellent screen presence," says Imraan.
IHLS is all set to hit the theatres on July 2, 2010.
