Friends,
Haven't you noticed... the winners of Indian Idol have never made it big.. e.g. Antara, Chang, Monali, Rahul ..... each of them are better off than the winners of the respective Indian Idol... They are all lost. In fact, except Abhijit (since he was the first one!!) - no one even remembers the other 3 - tell me who are those again.. Sandeep?? Who one II 3 and who won II4?? Do you remember..Isn't it winner's curse!! So contenstants take a sigh of relief... it doesn't matter if you win or not.. if you get noticed. .you will make it.. In fact, when you win.. there is so much hype going on and also the music industry anyway thinks that Junta doesn't vote for good singers - so they know the winner is not the best singer... they look for someone who is not a winner, but a good singer (like Vishwas or for that matter Shivam too)..Pray to loose the competition, but win the heart of the people (specially of those who are in music industry).. Right??What say... 😉 😉 😉
Hmmmm...I agree with your statement.....continuous hardwork and devotion will pay off at some point.Originally posted by: somone999
But now I feel things are different with the bringing up of the chance to sing in a Yashraj Movie. I think no one would like to leave the competition, just based on this assumption that they will turn out to be more successful than the winner. Success in the music industry depends a lot on luck as well, along with your devotion for struggle. If a person continues to do that, he can achieve a good status in the industry. Nothing is impossible.
