I would completely agree about the divorce with all of you and support Sadhna for it too had she signed the divorce papers because there was no point to her marriage. But she signed the papers to get money for her mami's operation with other options clearly available. What was the whole point of resisting and trying to get money another way so she doesn't have to divorce Alekh then? She should have just accepted the deal when Vasu first offered it then.

Actually, they shouldnt have shown Vasu offering a deal to Sadhna (before the dance competition) and Sadhna refusing that deal. And later when she accepted the deal, it purely looked like a deal done for the money. But, the intention there was to prove Sadhna's sacrfices towards Kaushi and Kaushi's realization.

Sadhna did the similar thing while saving Vasu. She jumped into fire to save Vasu's life. There also she risked her life and inturn risked Alekh's life (if something happens to Sadi, then Alekh wouldnt be alive right?). Saving Kaushi and Saving Vasu both are similar situations. Both had hatred towards Sadhna. But, their hatred converted into love seeing Sadhna's love and nobleness.

But, in the first case (while saving Kaushi), I feel it was not shown intelligently.

It was definitely shown to change Kaushi permanently. But the way they showed it was completely unrealistic and illogical that for me makes it impossible to justify what Sadhna did. For me, as right were her intentions, her way was even more wrong.

Well Sadhna is the best wife. It's all rooted in the fact that she looked at abnormal Alekh with eyes that showed pure love. The way she looked at him, you'd think he was Zeus or some Greek God, not a man trapped in the mind of a 6 year old child.

She ALWAYS thought of Alekh as her husband, her soul mate, her partner for the rest of her life no matter what. She regarded him as her husband, gave him that rutba...she did all the social rasams which are required of an Indian wife to perform for her husband...but the biggest thing she did was give him her heart...give him her entire heart, devotion, care, time, and attension...in this way...you could say she totally sacrificed herself...because like Bani said...there was NO GUARANTEE of Alekh becoming normal...because lets say he HAD become normal...if Ranvir hadn't exposed Choti Maa...the root cause of all his issues would always be there and she could resort to foul play again at any moment...in fact WITHOUT A DOUBT she would resort to foul play because she wants Naveen to have what Alekh will someday...

So with a seemingly endless road with plenty of ups and downs, Sadhna gave her heart to a person who in my opinon, in many ways, had no hope...his recovery was miraculous...even a child grows up one day...but the way Alekh was...it wasn't even like she couuld hope that with time, his thinking would just mature...no...

Imagine Alekh had stayed abnormal...this woman accepted him knowing that she would be dealing with that as she got older as well...imagine a middle aged and senior Sadhna taking care of an old man still trapped in his own mind...that's basically something none of us can imagine...but that's what Sadhna accepted...not because it was a majboori...oh, I'm stuck with him for the rest of my life, might as well make the best of it...NO.

She LOVED HIM...she loved him like a woman loves a man, and like a wife loves a husband...pure, unbiased, unprejudiced LOVE...and that's why Sadhna is the best biwi...


And another thing...another reason why she is the best wife is because with her, Alekh was the happiest he'd EVER BEEN IN HIS LIFE. Prior to Sadhna, Alekh was suicidal and very very unhappy...he truly felt like he didn't belong in society....he used to try to hurt himself...whereas with Sadhna he used to play around, draw, make paintings...be naughty...before Sadhna...he was locked in the outhouse...

Before Sadhna...Alekh didn't trust anyone but Choti Maa...but Sadhna's love won his trust...and he fell madly in love with her too...and realized her worth...and finally said the magic words "I love you, Sadhna"...that's a big deal...for someone who wouldn't let anyone even touch him...he really changed...

in these two years, she achieved the impossible of making an abnormal person normal. She was there as a shadow for her abnormal husband 'Alekh" and never bothered whether she has a normal husband or an abnormal husband. But when Alekh got normal, things became such, that she had to make a decision of whether to save her married life or the life of someone, who is a mother figure to her. I know, this was the best situation to point fingers at Sadhna.

I always feel creatives take utmost care in this creation of theirs. They never give her a forced track, but very natural ans simple ways to prove her selflessness. Thus again this track, will prove also along with other concepts, how Sadhna is the best patni for Alekh. She is the only person who can make Alekh strong and feel that he is indeed normal. No other person can do this ....This Karan track, will seal the character of SADHNA as being the 'best patni", a patni who is just not interested in the physical aspects of a relationship, rather her relationship with her husband is so pure, that she will be the one to instill back that confidence in Alekh, that he is normal and he is the best husband....

I know how much CTs answer, at one time they also laugh at all the allegations raised against this character sketch of theirs...SADHNA...but I think they dont need to do anything anymore...
