engagement without elders?

it was nice to see sajan engagement.
but shouldn't there have been a few elders.
like bauji,bui,sam's parents.
and shouldnt suhaani and adhiraj attend it.
how come they got engaged without their parents knowing.
i think they should hav talked about this to their parents not the gang.
wat is your opinion.

But it's MJHT- i've gotten used to it now...no shilpa aunty at Mayur's wedding...WEIRD!!!

Shilpa aunty's situation is atleast understandable.......her absence was explained. Samrat is not in talking terms with his parents so samrat not informing his parents was obvious but Gunjan?! She was bauji's ladli right?! How can cvs not show her informing her bauji and bui......I guess in the hurry to complete season1, these details have escaped the cvs minds!
