Character Sketch:
The Patil:
Aayi Sahib: (Aradhana Patil)- She is the widow of Shriram Patil one of the famous industrialists, a loving and a caring mother of two beautiful kids dutta and Kala (her world). She lost her husband at a very young age when her kids were just in their teens, unfortunately her husbands business partners cheated him and this killed him. After her husbands death she was on roads but her son brought back all the prosperity back again with his hard work.
Kala Patil lele : is a sweet loving and caring sister, mother of a 5 year old boy called "anay" a loving wife and most of all a loving daughter. She has seen tough times in her childhood after her dad's death and also acknowledges the hard work her brother had put in to make their life the best and that is why she loves him the most and wishes the best for him always.
Kishore Lele: He is a cool business man and an orphan, he made it big with his brains, he runs an educational institution in Mumbai. A loving and a caring husband but stays with his wife's family as he himself doesn't have one. He also understands the pains his wife has gone trough in her childhood and wishes the best for his brother- in – law.
Anay Kishore Lele: The life of the house, he is full of naughty idea's and is heavily pampered by his aaji (aayi sahib).
Dutta Shriram Patil: He is one hard core businessman, money is the only word he understands, his father's death shattered him (he was just 18 then) but the fact that killed him was his childhood love seema betrayed him for money and ever since then he just understands one language that is money, a lifeless emotionless soul who is just a moving body and a money earning machine.
The Diveker
Ganpat Diveker: He is a businessman who loves his wife and kids but gives priority to his dead brothers child (supriya) because he feels that she deserves all the love and affection which she would received from her dad and mom who are dead.
Babi Diverker: a loving wife, believes in her husbands philosophy of giving all her love to supriya, but unlike ganpat she doesn't ignore her 3 beautiful kids, she loves them adore them and spoils them.
Supriya- Ganpats dead brothers daughter, she lost her mother too when she was just a kid, she is basically insecured of ganpat's kids and always schemes against them her favorite task is to point out their mistakes and make them worthless in front of ganpat. She is married to Ravi kolapuri who is also just like supriya and is a partner in all her crime (BTW ravi is a good for nothing husband who tries to be all worthy in ganpat's eyes).
Leela Nene:- Ganpat and Babi's eldest daughter she is happily married to Sudarshan Nene who is an investment Banker, she isn't as rich as her dad but knows how to live her life to the fullest, she had a love marriage much against her dad's wishes, and is a mother of a 3 year old girl pari the light of her life.
Sudarshan Nene: He is an MBA and working as an investment banker, loves his wife and child and his wife's siblings, he parties with them and enjoys his life.
Baji Rao Diveker: the second kid of ganpat and babi a fun loving boy who loves his parents and siblings, he is currently studying management from Chicago, and loves a girl called roops banerjee who also studies along with him, he knows in order to marry roops he has to go much against his dad's wishes.
Nakusha Deviker :- Well ganpat named her unwanted not because she was just an add onn in the family but because the amount of prosperity her birth got him was somewhat unwanted for him and thus he named her nakusha, nkku is her short name and now hardly anyone remembers that her full name is nakusha. Well this girl is full of life the youngest in the family and the prettiest too. She loves her brother and sister and always seeks their advice, she hates supriya and her good for nothing husband but doesn't say a word against them because of ganpat.
The Banerjee:
Bishnu Banerjee: He is a Patil loyalist and had always been, he has seen dutta since his childhood days and had supported him like a father figure in their struggling days, his wife died after delivering a girl, who is his life
Roops Banerjee: She is close to kala and dutta both, and is in love with bajirao, inspite of being a Bengali she follows all maharashtrian culture because is had been brought up with dutta and kala.
