I firmly believe Love can change people .. all you need is a lot of patience and tolerance. Problem these days lies in the fact that people have zero tolerance. Love can do wonders if channelised in the right direction. I have seen it happen in my own immediate family ... which again, reaffirms my belief in the 'Love conquers all' theory.
Moreover .. people are never born crooked or straight. Individual expriences and circumstances make them the way they are.

Eks, I guess we are both seeing it from our personal experiences and encounters with ppl whom we have come accross.
I haven seen ppl so crooked that the more love you give them the more and more crooked they become (personal experience). It's as if your love fans the fire of their hatred. Yes when money comes in that hatred changes to flowers in an instant and those very ppl who once spat upon you, to the extent that they wanted to destroy you, now want to even donate their kidneys for you. I am not saying this to prove a point, but I have seen this in real life with my own eyes. Trust me, such ppl disgust me. The best part is that such ppl are usually family only. The very ppl who say before how much ever love and respect you give them, that pls dont talk to me my wife dosent like it, but when money and power comes in they say, oh pls can me and my wife do something for you ? can we cook the food for you today ? you are like our own son.
I beleive good ppl are inherently good and evil ppl are inherently evil. Very few times there's a transformation into the opposite side because of experiences. Look at lalla, he's been good even though he's TN / Dadi's son. Yes Sudha was an influence, but still there was inherent good in him. Our traits are written in our soul. Ravana was the most evil emperor on earth, but his father / grandfather were the greatest rishis and noble souls who always condemned his ways.

I have always lived in a nuclear family, but with the get-togethers with the rest of the family...so it keeps the peace intact.
For AbHer, at the moment, I feel they should live as a nuclear family away from all the hateful members of their respective families, except Sudha of course. They need a lot of together time to work thru their problems together with Abeer's love and Leher's practical approach. They need to get over the hurdles together so that it will strengthen their bond so that no TN, Boodha, Bua or Kulcha can separate them.

Superb post Gayu.I think AbHer shud stay in joint family only for 1 reason .In Ganeshkhind Leher is safe from Omi & chamchas. But if she stays alone whenever Abeer goes out Omi can alwas kidnap her .At least Vajpayee house he cant do this easily.Thogh dadi & bua humiliate Leher but Abeer is alwas there for Leher ,he wil alwas stand up for Leher. And he is madly in love wid Leher,so he wont let dadi & bua humiliate Leher
