I was reading a article and I got shocked ..
Who bids adieu to Miley Jab Hum Tum

STAR One is all set to wrap up the season one of its popular youth-oriented show Miley Jab Hum Tum. The show touched the hearts of many and became a massive hit amongst the TV audience. Its popularity can be gauged by the innumerous fan-clubs on social networking sites and an equally huge fan-following on the official site. As the show nears its finale, we speak to the characters, which have become a part of our lives, on the emotions they are running through.

We spoke to Jaskaran Singh about Miley Jab Hum Tum season 1 finale...

What do you feel about season finale?

I will miss the whole team of Miley Jab Hum Tum, the cast and set of the show. I must thank the creative of the show who made my character Uday aka Dodo so popular among the audiences. I am very lucky that season 1 of the show was loved by all and we completed more than 400 episodes.

Best moments shooting

They are many moments to share. I remember I have done one sequence in which I had spoofed the whole Ghajini act where me and my director can't remember the name. He was quite impressed with my physique and told me that you should be in films as you have a good physique. Then I still remember that I celebrated my birthday (17th Jan) with all my co-actors and we went to town after the shoot was over. It was a very nice and warm birthday which was celebrated by my co-actors.

Favourite on-screen moments

There are so many, the first which I remember when I played the role of a doodhwala(milkman) bhaiyaa, it was one of the best on-screen sequences, then of course spoof of Ghajini, then all the romantic moments with Tamanna, then I became a teacher and dressed like a woman Miss.Vyaas and many other such moments which will remain forever and through this show I was able to play different characters'

If he/she happens to be the one who dies, then what would be his/her reaction..?

To be frank with you, I am not going to die in the show and I have no clue how I am leaving the show because I haven't been told by the creatives because at present we are shooting the engagement sequence of Samrat- Gunjan.

What do them/their characters have say about their experience on the show?

It was nice to play Dodo's (Uday Bhushan) role for two years and Uday is very happy that Samrat-Gunjan have resolved their problems and I had great experience playing a macho character of Uday and Jaskaran Singh and Uday are same in nature and I will surely miss my first character which is loved b everyone.

What was the best fan comment you have read on the fan clubs and FB?

Everyone is telling me why are you leaving the show but some of my fans have told me it's good that you are moving ahead. One comment was quite emotional which was given by the writer of my show-Gautam Hegde. Its sad that Dodo is leaving the show and will miss all his characters that he played and I have done a survey on a social networking site and over there I had asked what kind of role I should play, then I got over more 50 comments in which 25% have told me to do a role similar like Uday, 35 to 40 % romantic hero and rest told me to try a hard core negative role.

Then after Uday Bhushan we spoke to everyone's favourite Benji played by Abhishek Sharma

What you feel about season finale?

Its obvious that I will miss all the action of Miley Jab Hum Tum as for this show, I have been a part since two years and now we are like family. It is a dramatic end of the season 1 and I feel sad that one of the audiences' famous character will be no more.

Best moments shooting

There are so many, every day we come on the sets and we had some weird ideas during the shoot and we all used to discuss within ourselves only and we can't tell those weird ideas, then I still remember that we all were shooting for an important sequence and with me Sanaya was also there and from her make-up room I saw Sanaya running out shouting 'rats'. Chuha Chuha and then from that day onwards we all came to know that Sanaya is afraid of rats ,then we had scenes with Dill Mill Gayye team and Karan Wahi and I had shared some laughs and our director used to get tired and ask us to please concentrate..

Favourite on screen moments

I really loved the Dostana track between me and Samrat in fact it was loved by the audiences as well.

If he/she happens to be the one who dies, then what would be his/her reaction..?

My character is not going to die as my track is getting over and I don't know how...

What do them/their characters have say about their experience on the show?

I was happy that Bhenji and Abhishek are similar to each other. I am happy that I was a part of this youth based show, while Bhenji is happy that he has got such a huge friend's circle. In real life, Abhishek also cracks jokes which is similar quality with Bhenji.

What was the best fan comment you have read on the fan clubs and FB?

One of fans was very sad and he commented that please don't leave the show and some of my fans loved my friendship with Samrat and its nice that the show and my character is being loved by everyone.

Sanaya Irani:

1. What emotions are you going through as MJHT season one nears its finale?

I can't explain how it feels when a show you have been associated with for two years now nears its end. I am overcome by a feeling of melancholy but also feel great at the same time because the show has worked so well and has been a huge hit with the viewers. The show has been successful and it feels that all the hard work has been paid off. I am sure everybody work hard on their respective show but not all of them turn out to be successful.

2. Favourite moment from the shoot:

I honestly can't rate just one moment as my favourite. It has been fun shooting for the show and MJHT has become like a family to me. It doesn't feel that I come here to work but that I am back to my family.

3. Favourite on-screen romantic moment with Mayank (Arjun):

Honestly, I can't recall any romantic moment with him as I really have a very bad memory. We end up laughing everytime we have to do a serious or a romantic scene. There is some serious problem with us and this has irked the entire cast and crew of the show. Even the director was sick and tired of our laughing. He will always ask us to take a break and come back for the shot.

4. How has been your experience on the show?

Oh! the experience has been great. I am really fortunate to have featured on a youth based show. It's a different feeling together to work on a youth oriented show. I have come across some amazing people who are working on MJHT.

5. What if your character has to die on the show?

My character won't die and I have that much of confidence. I don't want to think on what if?

6. Your favourite comment from the fan-club of the show?

I can't recall the exact comment but this was for a scene where I cried profusely and this fan's comment read that even he cried while watching the scene and that the performance was awesome. Nothing can get better than this.

Mohit Sehgal:

1. What emotions are you going through as MJHT season one nears its finale?
I am really excited as I will don a complete new look post the revamp. I have been a part of this successful show for the past two years.

2. Favourite moment from the shoot:

I am really bad at recalling the moments and memories from the past. There have been many moments which can be termed as my favourite. I had a blast shooting for the show and it has given me so much and landed me to new heights in my career.

3. Favourite on-screen romantic moment with Gunjan (Sanaya Irani):

There was this sensuous and romantic number between Gunjan and Samrat which aired recently. It was Dil Kyu Yeh Mera from Kites and is a very beautiful song.

4. How has been your experience on the show?

My experience on the show has been great. The entire crew and cast have been extremely supportive and helpful to me. MJHT is my debut show on TV and it has been a learning experience shooting with such skilled people.

5. Will you miss your co-actors if you are the one to bid adieu to the show?

Obviously I am going to miss them as they have become like a family now. They have graduated from being friends to family. We used to eat, sit and chill out together and I am going to miss these fun moments. But I will surely be in touch with all of them.

6. Your favourite comment from the fan-club of the show?

They have given us immense support and have loved all the characters. It's because of these fans that MJHT became so popular. I feel on cloud nine getting such great response from our fans.

Naveena Bole:

1. What emotions are you going through as MJHT season one nears its finale?

It's a mixed feeling. I am feeling terrible as I feel the show shouldn't have ended as it was so much of fun and everything was going so well. But I think the creative team has decided to come give the show a fresh look. I am upset and happy at the same time.

2. Favourite moment from the shoot:

All my scenes with Rati Pandey, Jas Karan and Abhishek Sharma are my favourite.

3. Favourite on-screen romantic moment:

The scene where in Benji (Abhishek Sharma) locks me and himself in a cupboard and we hold each others' hands for the first time. This was the first time I realise that I feel for him.

4. How has been your experience on the show?

It's been amazing as MJHT is a youth-oriented show. There are a handful of shows which are youth based. My character has been through so many transitions on the show. It has transformed from negative to romantic and then completely positive. I have met some fabulous co-actors and directors on the show. I don't know what I will do if I have to do a saas-bahu saga.

5. What if your character has to die on the show? ' don't take such answers, we will not reveal it yet

I am not a part of season two of the show. I will participate in Gunjan and Samrat's engagement ceremony and after that my character will end. I don't know how it will be treated.

6. Your favourite comment from the fan-club of the show?

I read this one comment which said that Dia is the prettiest girl in the world. Also that Benji and I bring relief to an otherwise serious show. It said that our characters are fun and light to watch.

7. Any fun moment?

Ah! a lot of them. I remember this shot where they had applied real gobar (cow-dung) on my legs and it was horrible. The entire vanity was sticking and Benji helped me wash it off.
