Shreya madam. Yeh round gaya aapke haath se.
Didn't like the way she sang the antara. Like the word 'Jeene'.
'Luft Kya' sounded very unpleasant.
But good energy.

Great song! Full of viva and spirit!!!! Makes you wanna stand up and dance! As far as the singing goes, Shreya ji had me hooked from start to finish! With a seductive and fun voice, this is a perfect item song! I'll give it a 9!

Shreya made this song likable which no other female singer of today would have been able to do. She rose above the song entirely with full energy; and her versatility here is even more evident than 'yeh ishq hai'.

I LOVE the way she sings 'ya.....ar'.

PS: I have been reading comments; don't understand why people include actors/ picturisation while judging the singer's performance.

Shreya has sang much better songs before but this track cannot be counted as her best.
Her voice is good no doubt but the track itself is like-just another one, that is it lacks that feel to be called a hit. Singing is just OK, good modulation but more harkats would have been needed to make it feel like an item song.
The song overall lacks soul. Listen to it once, its OK, twice, it becomes mundane. Thrice, its forgettable.

OT: Another song from the same movie-Ar bachu tu sunle can be called dance track because of its beats but is a much, much better one than this lattoo.

Not a bad song selection, it has good music.



Shreya once again I think did a solid job displaying her versatility. Well-sung. Actually very well-sung. Her high pitches, all the harkats she added, the skill needed to sing this sung the way she has is actually pretty high. It was high level singing in terms of ability needed by Shreya Ghosal in this song. So good job there. There were many parts that were examples of this.

So while the singing quality and ability were high for Shreya in this song, it seemed much of it was forced and unnatural sounding. It kind of felt like she was trying too hard to be honest. It just didn't come out easily and naturally like it would've for someone else singing like Sunidhi Chauhan.

Nonethless, great singing overall by Shreya Ghosal. Once again, good display of versatility.

A popular song, no doubt..

The up-beat music is the dominant thing that makes the song likable. There is an effectual tone in the voice of Shreya, she sounds different from usual. Expressions are good, but could have been more better and sensuous as is the mode of the song. It proves the versatility of Shreya definitely. Pronunciation is reasonably well. Sometimes there is strain in her voice, that is evident. I liked the small variations she introduced with her singing. The throw should have been more powerful. Never-the-less a great job done by Shreya, she does create an impact.

I would like to give this performance an 8 out of 10.
