I haven't been convinced about any roles: Roshni

You are now doing your first ever reality show. Don't you think it's high time we see you in a serial again?
The reason I haven't been seen in a fiction show is because I have been busy with hosting shows like Chak de Bachche and Comedy Circus and I was also shooting my film Phhir. And another reason is that I feel my role in Kasamh Se was an impactful one. If I do return to fiction on TV, I would have to better that and so far I haven't been convinced about any of the roles that have come my way.

Why did you choose to do Desi Girl?
Despite being offered many reality shows earlier, I chose Desi Girl as my first reality show because I found that the concept is truly unique and it provides a platform to experience a whole new world. I have lived abroad for most of my life and also been totally spoilt by my parents. This show would be a real challenge for me.

Has marriage proved a bane?
I definitely think marriage has been good for me. I'm working more than I ever have before. Travelling and living life to the fullest. And at the end of the day, it's great that I have a home and a man to come home to. The security of a stable relationship only adds to creativity.
