Hmm well I'm an AR fan, although it's mostly for Armaan and for what their love story used to be. But you know what? I think I can understand where the SR fans are coming from when they talk of being bored of dupattas flying and eye locks. Heck I got tired of them too. A show needs a story and frankly DMG's writing somewhere in the middle of KaSu period took a hit. From the whole Billy track to KaJen to the shootout and to the current DMG, the show doesn't seem to have any writers. I know the current AR fans are mostly KaJen fans and so they might not like this post, but according to me the KaJen period was the worst b/c there was no story. They just kept showing the same thing....dupattas flying, Armaan hugging and gripping Ridhhima tightly, and eye locks. To me the golden period of DMG will always be KaSh, not just b/c of the couple but b/c of the story, dialogues, acting, direction, and a good technical team.

Having said that, I completely concur that SR are nothing new, and they still have the same dupattas and eye locks. It's nothing new, but the reason why ppl might find it fresh is b/c of the pair: JeRan. I know lots of KaSh fans are now JeRan fans but honestly KaSh chemistry is nothing like JeRan, and the freshness and story of the KaSh times is also way superior to the JeRan one.

Also, I'd like to add that the AR lovestory was quite stagnant in the KaJen period. I mean there were really no developments in the story watsoever. All they did is use the basis of AR from previous episodes to sell it with the KaJen chemistry.
