The young Indian side, relatively new to Australian conditions, will be eager to make an impact in this five-match T20 series. The comparatively larger grounds and extra bounce here could pose an early challenge, but they’ll look to adapt quickly. With the ball, India will depend on Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh to make early inroads, while the spin duo of Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav - both in excellent form, will aim to stifle Australia’s explosive middle order through the middle overs. All set for an exciting contest as the defending T20 World Champions face off against the Aussies in Canberra!

18:15 Local Time, 07:15 GMT, 12:45 IST: Australia wrapped up the ODI series 2-1, and the focus now shifts to the T20 leg of the tour. It was an emotional end for Indian icons - Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who played their final match on Australian soil; both departing in trademark fashion. Rohit dazzled with a magnificent century, while Kohli’s composed innings at the Sydney Cricket Ground was a fitting farewell. With the stalwarts signing off this tour in style, the baton now passes to India’s next generation.

SKY: We wanted to bat first as the wicket could get slightly slower as the game goes on. They know what is to be done, know the roles really well. Big headache, good headache to have. Guys missing out are, Rinku, Washi, Jitesh, Arshdeep and Nitish.

Mitch Marsh: We are going to bowl first. Looks like a good wicket, always is a nice wicket when we come here. It's exciting. All teams now pushing their bill towards the World Cup. 11 players, few batters, bowlers and all-rounders (smiles).

Australia have won the toss and have opted to field
