Even as Mallika Sherawat's next film, Shaadi Se Pehle, is some distance away, the Haryana babe showed up to upstage stallions at the annual Poonawala racing event.

The Pune event is often referred to as India's equivalent of The Royal Ascot races.

Mallika, clad in an uncharacteristically modest white dress, arrived at the venue via helicopter, and joined actor Jackie Shroff on the event's podium.
