I actually enjoyed it during the initial period..I actually liked the Kartik-Karan (bade bahi chote bhai track also)..Vidya bua-Dubai wali mausi track etc,,, and was quited shocked to see Karan bein killed actually... But still continued in the initial widow stuff thinking Karan may be revived.. Quit for sometime when it was unbearable, I seriously was watching this serial to see if Karan comes back to save Suman...but no...we had some freak called PD..then again started when Suman joined a new school to teach...thought..yes its going well she is now independent..and Kartik is also helping her as her Jeth.. Things will get better...but then as it proceeded.. I just could not accept the way or ease Suman's character was shown to fall for Kartik..had it been more gradual ..having a fight with her concience ...talking to karan's photo (filmy style) and with more sensitivity I would have liked it... Coz, 1 year is too less a time for anyone to come out of trauma and fall for another guy with whom one is supposedly very very deeply in love..this was not a case of love at first sight like in Karan's case.. men give sympathy..but to turn that into love takes time.. it takes years to forget one's loved ones and the love as deep as shown for Suman...longer.. <<<unless one is married in Las Vegas!!! >>> But then its fiction chalta hai... But after that it went all downhill for me.. watched very irregularly..not with interest..did not have the zing in it... only saving grace was the Kartik-Suman scenes during this track with PD saga, but it still missed the vibes of the initial days that sense of fun... with the Tanmay-BD track and Nandini-Kartik wedding..it was the most off-putting track for me..did not watch...just read the updates to keep in touch thats all....
Recently I am watching regularly again since Karan's return just in hope that it will get that initial postive vibes back and entertain...But looking at the way this is proceeding unless Karan does some serious comedy and brings that element of spark back to the serial..except for the die-hard Kartik-Suman fans i am not sure how the general maases are reacting to this track... Next weeks TRP will tell.. The other characters are too serious and melodramatic in the serial..Even Kanchan who was jovial and spunky with Karan in the initial days has been made so serious..
how long can one watch rona-dhona..and ankh-micholi..bhaiya-saiya hide-and-seek..sindoor-mangalsutra stuff...pretty soon if things dont improve... I am quits like before...
My only Hope is Karan will bring some positivity back to this serial..
but seems like there were many like me looking at the TRP report. am not alone in the boat :-)
