His elder brother suddenly died leaving behind his wife and a child. there was a lot of pressure on my colleague (X) to marry her though he had a GF. after much deliberation ultimately the family got the widowed Sis -in- law remarried , (X) married the SIL's younger sis & adopted his nephew !

Why did they need X to marry the SIL's sister? Why spoil his life when he already liked someone else and on top of that they got the SIL married to someone else? 😕
Maybe he could've just married his own gf and still be able to adopt the nephew...?

Step mothers are a maligned lot ! The prospect of getting an unknown step mother for the young child wasnt welcum to the family. Getting the masi ( maternal aunt ) as step mother was more acceptable as she was already familiar to the child and was expected to be more loving as compared to an unrelated step mom. I agree that it was most unfair to the GF in this case.

Does anyone think about what this poor girl wants !!!!!
Does she want to marry her brother-in law or not !!!!!
She could have her own choice to whom she wants to marry !!!!!
Forced marriages are not acceptable in the world now !!!!!
Some country's have enforces laws against forced marriages !!!!!!

1)Is it right for the parents to force a girl to marry her sisters husband?
Making sum1 to get married forcefully is always wrong !!!!! I dun think parents hav n e ryt to force the gurl to get married to his Brother-in-law....😛
2)Should the husband give simetime to the girl to adjust in the new situation or treat him as his wife?
He must give the gurl all space to adjust hersefl in to the new situation. Its always difficult to replace sum1 !!!!
3)Is it good for the children?
Until the gurl gives birth to her own children.😕
4)Can this family be happy?
It can be ....there is a say.....If u no how to make...... nuffin is impossible....😃
5)What would you do if you were in this situation?
simple......I would hav neva agreed to my parents !!!!!! 😆
Keep-------------------Smiling !!!!! 😊

What about his girlfriend? 😒

Sometimes people don't realize how many lives they are ruining to give one life happiness.
