Salman is a far cry from the way

Among the many producers of Salman Khan, who are hoping that he emerges unscathed from the current crisis is film-maker Saawan Kumar, who struck a great rapport with the latter while shooting with him for SAAWAN - THE LOVE SEASON. "Salman's a gem of a person and I am sure he will come out of this predicament like he has managed to come out of so many problems in the past. The word of law is the final word but this is definitely not the last recourse to justice. I hope God will take care of him in these trying times," Saawan Kumar says.

Kumar adds that the real Salman is exactly the opposite of the brash and arrogant monster that the media has made out of him. "It is unfortunate that this media created perception has become a part of his image now. Moreover in the case of celebrities, the slightest mistake is blown out of proportions. In reality, he is a far cry from the way he is projected in the media. He's a producer's friend who does not mind going out of his way to help a producer in need. He has done so much for charity too but he doesn't make a big noise about it," Kumar reveals.

Kumar is among the few producers who can never forget the way Salman went out of his way to accommodate dates for them, when they were in need.

Incidentally the slick teasers of the film are a visual treat with Salman's intense, brooding look and long hair. "It is probably one of Salman's best look in recent times. The honest intensity in his eyes that is reflected in the film is so much characteristic of the person he is in real life,' Saawan Kumar states.
