This film is based around a film set and making films, the spoofs are completely in context not random. Its about a girl who is waiting for her 'Raj', 'Rahul' etc. Isn't that what most young, mushy girls do? Like how people say 'Mr.Darcy' is the perfect man. Just a reference to ideal 'perfect' men!

I think it was needed..as they're playing characters and making a'love'movie..than its needed to use the most obvious..ddlj right? i dnt think it was used to be ina descrete manner rather an obvious indication of what tru love really is..
anways, teri ore, ddlj, and a bunch other sequences were used..its more or less to show what love is characterized in today's world in the movie itself

I love DDLJ and hate how they are making fun of it. Your right, its a classic and shouldn't be made fun of.

Okay So I just saw the I hate luv stories trailer and I am really excited! But as i was watching I noticed the scenes ( sonam wearing the black halter dress and imran in a tux on the bridge) that paralleled ddlj. The srk mohabbatein voice over was okay, but I am tired of all these ddlj spoofs. Like bachna ae haseeno, and even tv serials do it( not just the yrf ones, others do too!)! I am kind of sick of it, i mean it was cute for a while but now not so much. DDLJ was a classic, and let it be. i really dont find humor in the sppofs, they just seem dumb and boring to me. What about you guys?

I agree with you....personally I'm SICK of the overkill....and I honestly was NOT entertained by the Mohabbatein voicever in the beginning of the IHLS trailer....I thought it was really lame....This kind of "humor" REALLY falls flat now in my opinion.
