Truly surreal...

Some of my lovely friends *waves* had recommended this show and I finally managed to watch an episode.

I wanna apologize for any mistakes, because other than Suhana and Ishan, I don't really know all of the characters' names😳
Firstly, a few minutes in to the episode and it reminded me of BBB (those who have seen the show might understand where I am coming from). I got all the more reasons for watching this show.😃

I really like all of the characters and how they are portrayed. Of course, they have flaws but that's what makes them so real and they have portrayed such real emotions. It is such a refreshing and innocent story and makes a part of that world for those 15-20 minutes. You were right Mirtwa, it makes you have faith in human kind and I needed this break after the 🤢

The characters are very well written and the actors are brilliant, especially the main lady/dadi??😕

I just hope that they stick to it Because every show that I start watching goes haywire, so you know who you should blame if that happens😆
That's all I have to say for now, might have more to say once I learn the characters' names😆 don't wanna say something about the wrong person and I am scared of being bashed😳 😆

ok me back. anchal i dont know if you know SGP is a copy of bengali soap called ogo bodhu sundari. if you know bengali definitely watch that is a lovely show, get an idea of where the story is headed. 😃

The AC issue was a good subject for them to show. It addresses very crucial underlying issues; first partiality towards suhana could this create jealousy, animosity and resentment, second elders taking of their new bahu making sure she is comfortable and not forcing her toooooo quickly to conform with the new ways, and third it also shows their love to get her something before she asks for it. 👍🏼

what i loved was suhana didn't ask for it and she was genuinely very grateful and so happy. 👍🏼

coming to the tension part of today episode i felt that was soooooo real. because it has happened in my family too. suhana was right in her place. she is used to privacy her whole life and for a person like that they cant stand it when people barge in on them uninvited especially when you want to cool off literally and have some down time. 😕

my aunt is like that, nice lady, but i remember when i first met her i thought she was like my other aunts and we used to barge into her room and bug her and try to provoke her to have pointless conversations. and later on realized she hated it, she didn't want us annoying her when she wanted to be alone. afterwards when the family is together in the living room and talking, she never comes out of the room, because she hates crowd and group discussions and gossip talk. she likes to be alone and she is still that way. my family thinks she is snobby and rude, but as i got older and got to know her personally i found she is genuinely very sweet but doesn't like crowds and she never will. she is just like suhana her father was super rich, her mother died, she has a step mom, but her grandma raised her so she never spend time with parents. Her whole life was isolated, private, and very luxurious. My family is huuuuuuuuuuuuge we like to be in everybody business and she hated it. So I completely understand where Suhana comes from.

Anyhooooooo I liked how badi ma handled it. What was even better was Suhana didn't go running to her or complain or whine about it. Badi ma figured it out very sensible woman and asked everyone to leave. I love this Badi ma character. If one person like that existed in every family as the family matriarch you can get immense wisdom in life, love and genuine care. 👏

Now Radha Bua if there is a villain in this story it is her. Hahaaaaaaaa I know no villains, and she is not one I was just being over dramatic, and she is a tragic character feel bad for her. But I love the way Badi ma explains the situation so sensibly to her. Radha Bua needs to get marriage is no joke. It might not take much effort to break it, but more effort to make it work, however the fruits of such an effort is eternal bliss. So initially you might have to shed some tears, fight some battles, and go thru heart break. I love how badi ma looks at the bigger picture. Radha bua cant because she was ruined on the first night itself so she never got the chance to see the bigger picture, so she doesn't know how the ship sails home.

In Conclusion. I LOVE BADI MAAAAAAA 🤗

totally agree with you, I have never done anything like that in my ENTIRE life( covering 35 yeras and quite few months!!!), infact if my friends and family would know, they will make SOOOOOO much fun of me as I hate and still hate star plus and every other soaps on the TV ACCEPT, Ragini Khanna,s 3 serials and KARVI KHATTI MHEETI of Badi MAA . You guys seems to have good sense of humour and shows a lot of respect towards each other, well done Bacchas and Bachees.

Hello EvErYoNe!!! Hi Anchal and Mritwaa!!!😊

So, I watched today's episode and the first scene was 🤣 @ the phati banian!!! The khich-khich between these two elders is just sooo cute and sweet and hilarious!!! Both think the other's voice is broadcasted all around the neighbourhood and in Suhana's room!!! Loved that scene! Actually, so far, the few episodes that I watched, I love the interactions between dada and dadi - they r soo humorous!!!👏 Yup, the A.c. case seems quite sensitive!!! But, I liked Suhana for not whining/complaining about it but fuming by herself!!! She can be really nice and kind when she wants to!!! And the bahus were feeling insecure about the division - totally understandable!!! Choti Maa is such a nervous-wreck!!! Did u see/count how many times she called during the marriage ceremony when Suhana faints??? I was 😆 everytime I saw her calling and then, I started to predict when she is gonna make the next call!!!😆 And now she scolds poor Ishika who was actually trying to solve the misunderstanding! But, thats how parents react sometimes, showering their temper of someone else on their children,😉!!!
