JK's shoes to aid domestic abuse

The Evening Times reports that J.K.Rowling was one of many Scottish celebrities who donated their shoes to be put on display in aid of domestic abuse.

Each pair at the exhibition is accompanied by a note from the owner. JK's comment reads,

"I wore these shoes to the Harry Potter premiere. I love them dearly but they can do more in supporting hundreds of women rather than one nervous, wobbling writer."

The exhibition is open on May 3rd and 4th at Barrhead Sports Centre.
