Hey Athena, it's nice to be back :D. In regards to whether Krishna will be able to pull Pratigya and humself out of the abyss he's created, I have no idea. Right now I'm thinking that Pratigya will be the one to blurt out the truth maybe before, during or after the godh bharai. I think that she will not be able to bear the possible consequences of her lie and the fact that they are having a godh bharai when she is not truly pregnant will urge her even more to tell the truth. I no longer see any aspect of romance in the show, instead I see a woman trying to put together the pieces of her life that still make sense to her (by this I mean Pratigya has a sasural for which she does truly care for and maybe because of that care she has not yet decided to tell the truth but at the same time the honest woman from within her is burning her to tell the truth but her 'relationship' with Krishna is the one thing she is completely unsure of), her family life make sense to her and that is what she's working towards. Now onto her 'relationship' with Krishna; her mind cannot make sense of it (a reason maybe why she has not pursued her 'relationship' with him) She cannot understand why this man tells her he loves her but then does something that will blatantly say otherwise. He turned her whole life upside down, blew her family's reputation to smithereens and still feels as though he deserves something from her. The major problem is that they do not understand each other, not the way two people who will eventually fall in love should. Pratigya is strong, kind and above all else assertive. She does not lie and feels that there should be a way of doing things. She is educated and well versed with the world to know what is right and what is wrong. Krishna hails from the opposite (the farthest you can get) end of the spectrum. He is stubborn, uneducated, obnoxious and feels as though he has a right on anything he may want. Krishna cannot understand why Pratigya just doesn't do what he wants her to do because he's seen his mother and bhabhi obey his father and brother. My friend believes that Krishna truly does love Pratigya but just doesn't know which way to go about expressing it. I don't know where I stand on that point: I mean on one hand I feel that if he truly did love her he would not have terrorized or hurt as he has but then on the other hand I feel Krishna is so unlike someone I can relate to and having been brought up in a household that puts 'maardanghi' above all else his way of doing things is much different and more 'extreme'. I started watching this show in the hopes of seeing his character evolve but I feel that may take more time than I initially thought it would.
