I think our sid is a firm believer of this phrase. It justifies all his actions till date.

If you love somebody,
set her free.
If she comes back,
she was, and always will be yours.
If she never returns,
she was never yours to begin with.

There is no justification really, if Siddhant has been following this phrase as well..because if she "wants to" or not ..How does that matter? All that matters is, She just "has to" return , because she is binded with her commitments & obligations towards him as a wife.So this paricular phrase , may be true in actual , but doesn't really imply to a situation such as this.

nice phrase 😊 he shld let ridz go to chose her love i.e arman n shld make a point to his mind tat ridz was never n will never b his love. instead he shld wait 4 his true love😳

ridhima will come back 2 SID because she loves him....this phrase completely suits SR love story....

It's still sad to see people still have such a low opinion of women and their ability to make choices. Ridz was under no pressure to stay with Sid except from his mother (who's opinion on the matter was inconsequential to everyone but herself). Ridz had been given many opportunities to leave Sid no strings attached but decided to stay. The idea of divorce horrified her to the core.

On the other hand, going with the absurd notion she chose Sid only due to society then it shows AR's bond is so weak that mere social judgements were enough to end their love story. This is an insult to the great love that was AR. Was their love so weak and pathetic that they let other people judge and determine what was right for them. Ridz is not that pathetic that she will let social custom determine a decision that determines the course of her entire life.
