The other option is that they can bring in rape........don't throw chappals and what not at me.....if these creatives can burn Radhika............use gendwa phool as a cure.........use miscarriage in a very cheap way to bring Vishaka in PB.......use ONS track.............this baby stupidity........then why not rape? Plus all zee serials copy from each other.........both PR andAgle Janaam have shown rape....so why not cb? In that way when the truth will be out......Dev will not be angry at Dhanno............also Chikna will also come around
Actually, I thought of rape too. But, that is such a heavy burden for any child that they were unwanted because they were brought in the world unwillingly. So, if Vivek wasn't here, they could make him a product of an affair. I would rather that chikna is a fling by Vaishali after marriage but not rape. However, Vaishali doesn't seem the type to go for extramarital affair. She is too staid. But, then still water runs deep. Knowing creatives, they can easily make him elder to Vivek. We haven't seen him talking to Vivek and calling him Vivek or Bhaiya. But, chikna looks younger to Vivek. If it was an extramarital affair, I can see Sr. forgiving Vaishali but not telling Dadi about it. He was shown to be more concerned about feelings than family name. He was willing to let Dev go to US without telling him about his illness than see him being RP against his will.
Agree on your point regarding Devs reaction and anger. If dadima is not back when the pooja is supposed to start...........then there should be a scene.........I think they removed dadima and Birju to create this melodrama...........if Birju had been around then Radhika could have sent him to get Chikna andwith dadima around Vaishali willnot be able to create much racket.......I will like to see Dev looking after Chikna.😉 😆
I agree with you on Dadi not being there. I think Dev would be extremely angry at Pataka especially when his mom was kicked out by chikna. So, maybe Dadi would come at the end and intervene. Since they are going for mostly ramayan track now with little bit of Mahabharat and Savitri-Satyavan katha, I wonder if Dev would be so mad at Radhika that he refuses to allow her to sit for Puja and instead use her photo (similar to Ram in Ashvmedha yag). It would be funny if he tells her that she won't be allowed to sit in Pujas with him until she kicks out chikna. Until then, her photo would be used as a substitute. That does free up a lot of her time and she can use that to try to reform chikna and make him less SRK type. Also, he can tell her the long story about his motives which he had promised her the day he disclosed his animosity towards PF.
Pataka can only punish him if Chikna tells him,...........looks like both shastriji and Devkiji have conveniently forgotten about this bhala manas who actually started this mess. For me Chikna is a grey character.......Grey characters are basically characters that do evil or wicked or wrong things at times but either see the error of their ways or are also nice at times... basically most human beings are grey characters.....it depends on how deep is the shade of grey iand that determines how close we are to the color of evil - black.......now Chiknas actions are being ruled by revenge and hate....I am not excusing his behaviour...what he did in Vrindavan was wrong....that was the creatives and their illogical twists and turns.
I agree that chikna is grey and bhala manas is forgotton so easily (just like Vikram) and will be remembered at the right time by Shastri family. But, they didn't need to show him immune to Shastriji getting beaten up by the mob. That was just plain uncreativity on writers' part as they wanted to show chikna is the originator of all plans. Thankfully, they did use Vikram to state that chikna changed his plans at the last minute after meeting with Radhika. Otherwise, how would he know that Radhika would show up at his place or see Vikram.

Thanks for the names.....so now are you saying that dev is the old fashioned husband?😉

In order to answer your answer, first there is a disclaimer. I like Dev and all of this is written in jest. So, no throwing chappals at me, Dev admirers which is almost the entire forum.😆
Of course, Dev is extremely old fashioned. He doesn't want to see Pataka in any revealing
clothes outside his room, but wants her to wear western dresses in the privacy of their room. He gives her tonnes of jewelry, but no money or cell phone. He doesn't help her in any household stuff, but she waits on him for all meals and do all the wifely chores. It is ok when he wants to hold her hand or hug her, but if she initiates as she did in Malaysia, he gives her lecture on Indian culture and values. Today, he was also surprised when she initiated the hug. Also, he does expect her to behave like a girlfriend when they are in a different city by not wearing pallu or leaving her hair loose or calling his name, but he prefers that she dresses old fashioned at home and is happy that she doesn't call him by his name. Remember he was very happy when chikna mentioned that he didn't know Dev's name because Radhika never calls him by his name. Also, he is happy when other guys admire her or ogle her, but wouldn't want her to go out for coffee with anyone. I think he will show his jealousy with chikna even though Pataka and chikna have no plans of flirting at this time. Pataka is challenging chikna with her bhakti and chikna is focused on his revenge plans.
Finally, Dev expects her to obey him at all times. It is different that she never listens to him at crucial times. For example, when he forbade her to mention Vishaka's name in their house and to consider Vishaka dead, Pataka promptly disobeyed him the same night and got Vishaka in the hotel and then their house. Now, he explicitly forbade anyone to speak chikna's name, but she is bringing chikna and that too before the important puja (actually any puja involving Pataka and lover boy is important and is never completed without any problems). But, lover boy doesn't think that Pataka disobeys him because she always tells him that it is her "patni dharam" to obey him and she listens to him on all small stuff. Pataka is clever that way.

why3 I don't agree with u on the point that Dev is an old fashioned husband. He is simply a person who respects people's feelings.
You said that, Dev does not allow Radhika to wear western outfits outside the room, but if u see then he had no probs when Visakha wore the western outfits. He never said anything to her. Radhika is not comfortable wearing western outfits even in their privacy, forget about outside, so how could he even suggest that.
He asks her to remove Pallu from her head, leave her hair open, tell his name when they r alone. The reason is b'coz DIL keeping pallu on head is the tradition of his family and by forbading his wife to do that, he would hurt his family's feelings and so does not say her anything in front of the family. He wants her to tell his name, as Rad's does not do that (as she believes in old Patni Dharm), but if u see if she starts doing that, he would love it, he never had probs with Visakha calling him by his name. In fact he motivates Radhika to call him by his name, which she oes not do that.
He takes pride to have a beautiful wife, just like any other couple feels when somebody else praises ur spouse but definitely is extra possessive about Radhika and so does not like her seeing talking to any other men, except him.
Finally coming down to the point which is highlighted. Any human being expects his words to be followed, specially spouses expects that from each other, specially when the other always listens and follows however hard a decision is on them.
Dev also listens to Radhika and so expects her to obey his words also.
Coming down to the point that radhika does not listen to him at crucial times also, I will say that she does not hear to him at normal times also 😆😆
For eg :- In normal times when he asks her to sit with him or give him a kiss, she runs away saying that she has work.😆😆 So u see actually she never hears him out only, but Dev feels that she always obeys him.
Its kind of funny that Radhika follows all the old traditional norms of Patni Dharma but ignores the very important aspect of Patni Dharma which is to obey a husbands words, never go against him and never hide things from him. 😆😆😆

It would be interesting to see how Pataka and Chikna confrontation takes place. It would be great to see Vaishali doing Kshama vrat lets see what the Cvs do.😆

Thanks Chalhov..........well the creatives love circles.......maybe when dhanno is told to do a kshma vrat.......this time Radhika will raise her hand and do it for dhanno............our Pataka loves vrats. 😉
