What's with crying-shying ???

Here we go again . Contestants have already started crying after their performances. Tia was crying in yesterday's episode. It has been a new trend of gaining votes, I guess 😕.

They waste a lot of time on showing all the crying-shying . Is it scripted too?? Channel walas tell them when to cry n all 🥱

I did not know that a show like Indian idol exists.
All I know that this is a gaana bajaana show which has that extra added flavour and preservatives in the form of natural water called tears from eyes. Woh rona aur face ko dhona are all part of standard equipment and usse ek benefoit hota hai.

Votes, Votes aur more votes. Yeh jo public hai sab jaanti hai yeh jo public hai..woh to uspe symphetise karke us bechaari ko vote denge aur ek achcha deserving singer bahar nikal jaata hai.

Anjali.. I think even I would have cried if I was in her place.. 😛 Imagine yaara! Its something she's always dreamed of.. and worked hard for.. and then, when its finally happening and singing infront of her idol - Sunidhi, she - a HUMAN is bound to feel emotional..!!!! 😃

I went all psyched and cried like mad when I got my 10th Board results for some problems I had to face before my exams..😆😆Not that I flunked!!! 😛
So.. I dunno if she intentionally cried.. but people do get emotional when things which they dreamt ofare actually happening to 'em.. 😳
Even Shashi had an emotional moment with his papa today.. 😳
But yeaa.. sometimes all this should be edited out.. incase these things flood the show .. 😕

I am talking in general, I wasn't pointing at Tia 😳. Its just that crying has been like a weapon to earn votes / sympathy, IMO. Why do they show the crying thing when it comes to public votes?? ppl get emotional and then they vote.

That is what I think is irritating about Tia, she cries after every performance. 😛

excessive crying is annoying.

my bhavnaz are so simple, if the person on screen starts to annoy me, the telly goes off.

I agree Anjali.. I feel.. their crying for once or at the most twice is acceptable andunderstandable too.. But after that, the editors need to edit out such parts when the oozing gets too much.. 😛

you guys are write bout wat u have said but i kinda like the emotional parts as well.. i m very emotional person myself and sometimes when i see this side of them.. i kinda connect to them.. it even taught me a thing or 2 bout how we takes certain things for granted..and how some ppl work soo hard to get it.. like tia and her dads dream..n the way she said how she always wanted to fulfil her dads dream.. i was watchin it with my dad n we both were touched.. he even asked me if i would ever say somethin like this if i achieved something big.. u know it sometimes creates a stronger bond and u start to appreciate some things more .. it shouldnt be there all the time ofcourse because its a singing competition n not roone dhoone wali serial but sometimes its ok.. specially when u can tell its genuine and not just for votes.. 😳
