After Goldie, what’s next???

Hello everyone,

As you all are aware , we at Infia-forums.com have different levels based on the number of posts by members. Presently we have the following:

Newbie : 0 -49 posts

Groupie : 50 -99 posts

Senior: 100-999 posts

Goldie : 1000 + posts

We are pleased to see that the number of members who have crossed the 1000+ posts mark is the rise. So, we are now requesting you to suggest the next step in this ladder for 10,000+ posts. So, lets put our heads together and comeup with a title which every member at IF.com will dream of and strive to achive.

Wow 10,000!! Does anyone have that many posts yet??

I feel some people have been posting posts just to add number of posts and to see the change in thier profile... .. I think some people post just to be in different levels.

I do not want to be mean to point at some people but sometimes I feel when I see certain posts.. I feel.. is it really necessary?? I have seen a couple of posts like.. WOW YAHOOO I'm finally a groupie or hey.. look at me.. I'm a senior member now with this post (so.. the person is counting on to be in different levels) ... and then there is a loooooooong thread of posts congratulating the person.. that means, if I congratulate a person, I am aheading towards the new level.. as that means I have added a new post.. ummm . I think recently some of the forums has started looking mess due to unnecessary posts.. well. Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka section is new but I really liked the way that the moderators have maintained it... (even the pics I worked on and uploaded specially for India-forums is deleted because there was already same pics.. which were from discusstv.com )

orrrrrrrr...... by writing this post reply.. am I trying to be in a upper level myself??

Can we have something like this?

Goldie= 1000+ posts.

Special Member= 3000+ posts.

Heart/jaan/dhakan of the forum= 5000+ posts.

Also you can put something special next to the person's name who has 5000+ posts.

Well we do agree that some members do post stuff to get the level.. but this is not always the case. The number of posts is just a way of notifying how the member has contributed to the forum. As for the "I agree" and icons posts we have time and again said that we do not want just these from members but request a healthy discussion. Also just imagine if a member has really posted 10,000 posts of just " I agree" and emoticons then, it definitely shows they are addicted to the forum.

Also, we are considering some suggestions where members shall not get any credits for certain kind of posts but it is difficult to implement such things. Sometimes even one-liners lead to a good discussion and we do not want such members to be deprived. So, this is also like that exception we make where we don't mind giving away the count rather than deprive someone of it.

I hope I made some sense here.

all i can think of is platinum members

have the postings changed? when i joined IF it was:

0-49 newbie

50-100 groupie

100-200 senior member

200-1000 goldie! i think 😳

anyways i like HUMMs idea...VIP member or how about being called Regular Member?
