Its been a long long time I last made a post..pheww...

But then I had to make one today, coz two years back it was on this date that we got a very beautiful mother-son Scene...

Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil had some very beautiful scenes between its characters highlighting the depth and purity of the relation they shared...one such scene was this scene...a short yet beautiful treat for the mother's day..

Back then , when I was first watching this scene, I was like god EK trying Tare Zameen Par here..and seeing Prem sitting all teary throwing stones into the lake ,I was least expecting such a brilliant performance to follow..All I had noticed then was Prem's white socks 😆

But When Gayathri started with '' Prem'' , her voice reflecting the pain in her heart for her son , I started concntrating coz i knew that Shama Deshpande is a wonderful actress and Kis desh till then had had some real beautiful scenes.

It all started with Gayathri turning Prem to face her , asking himif he believed all that what was being said inside , Prem's teary face broke and she fell on her knees not being able to take her little boy's pain..Not being able to bare that the truth of one letter she had written ignorantly before her wedding could possibly overshadow her motherly love of 19 years..that her son could actually believe that her love was fake..and then we see the outburst of a hurt child...All that he , Prem , her son wanted was her to tell the world that He was HER son and that was the truth and nothing could change that...

I personally thought this was a beautiful scene with a brilliant performance by HC and Shama Ji with touching dialogues by Rekha Modi..Wow what a show KDM was then..

And HC looked soo cute crying like a little boy , such a shona..loved his body movements and how he kept his voice in control despite having to scream..

in short , beautiful scene..

I absolutely agree with you Di It surely was one of the great Mother son scenes we've ever had and just as you said KDM truly had some amazing relationships I personally really really loved the Mother son relationship once shared by Prem and Gay3. and the fact she not being her biological mother and yet shared that amazing relations really was the best part for me. I wish they never had ruined the beauty of prems and gay3 relation. I miss them so much 😭

I wish Gmom stayed like this till End,,the creatives left no kassar in ruing her character.....love this scene

they destroyed her character beyond redemption but still they could have shown her guilty at the end asking for everyone's forgiveness or something like that ...

For that angie we should then thanks SP........They didnt gave extension to the show so that they can end it properly.....

So very true angie. That was one of the beautiful scenes of KDM.

In the beginning I was drawn to this show as there were no typical stereotypes attached to characters. A stepmom here wasnt bad, there was so much love between brothers etc. It was as if there was a reverence given to relationships - each and every one of them. They had to go and ruin it in the end but I am atleast thankful that they kept the love between the brothers intact.

This scene is true epitome of Mother's Day and both HC and Shamaji were wonderful.

wwooowww a wonderful scene indeed....it was sso intense...loved the chemistry between mother and her son...had seen none like this before...missing kis desh soo much..

the one factor that made KDM a very different show was the beauty of the relations that charcters shared.. And YES , the mother-son relation shared by prem and gayathri was simply a beautiful and admirable one...Hc and Shamaji shared a very good chemistry and the fact that both were fantastic actors added warmth to their scenes ...Runining their relation was a great drawback to the show as it was one of the attractive aspects of the show along with preet -prem relation..

these two realtions actually had a great potential to glue the viewers to the show along with premeer 's story....
