its not like he said it for d first time..he's been living with these 2 for years now, subconciously hez used to this word,so it might be a spontaneous thng from him..and ofcourse he did mature,but..this was be4 he stopped HR from takin his name,so i dunno..might be a typo as well..

I think Ron said to give Voldemort some respect because he was wearing the Horcrux around him at the time, remember? The Horcrux was prob showing its effect on him. Also, I do think Ron matured as well after Dumbledore's death. Not only him, many people started using Voldemort's name. That's why it was made taboo, to trace anyone on Harry's side.

^ I agree with what JR said. When Ron said give him respect, I think the Horcrux was still influencing him a liitle. Good point though

When Ron told the other two to give you-know-who a little respect..he was not wearing the horcrux..was he? Because he told this thing when hermione disapparated them to the forest and ron was injured and everything...at that time they did'nt even get into the tent...and ron did'nt even know that they had managed to get their hands on the horcrux coz when they went into the tent he was surprised to see that they had the locket..So if he was'nt wearing it at that time..how can he be influenced by it??!?
Thanks!
