A mistake i found....

While reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I found a mistake on pg 83....where Ron asks hermione what she was doing with the books and hermione says that she is trying to decide which books to take with them when they go in search of horcruxes....and to this ron replies:...."oh of course.....i forgot we'll be hunting down voldemort in a mobile library..."

You make a good point. I just think that it shows that Ron was maturing? Or growing out of his fear of Voldemort because at that time they were completely oblivious to the taboo so they weren't aware that they could get traced.

Yes...i know they were'nt aware of the taboo then... but again...on pg 225..after hermione apparates to the forest and ron gets splinched and everything...harry is about to mention voldemorts name but ron shouts at him asking not to say voldemorts name and he also says harry to give you-know-who a little respect....even here..they were'nt aware of the taboo.... were they??but ron still called voldemort as you know who....

yeah i dnt thnk thy were aware of the taboo, but thy had their suspicions! like when they were at HQ and harry was saying voldemorts name, the death eaters would appear outsde! mayb thts why ron suggested not to use it becz thy were being found to easy!

Agreed- ron is maturing, also Bill and the others also started usiong Voldermorts name- i guess that after Dumbledores death they knew they have to overcome their fear and fight so they did. Ron stopped Harry from using the name because he said it feels like a jinx- he probably sensed there was something wrong with using his name i guess.

no,its not a mistake.even though ron is afraid of using the name he has used it in half-blood prince.remember him using it when they were discussing about disapperarences and ron said to mrs.weasley that 'you dont expect voldermort to hide behind the bookshelves' or something like that.and molly gets angry.i hav read somewhere even though ron is scared of using the name he uses the name in deathly hallows in some what three laces or sometimes.sometimes u forget about your fear and use it subconsciously.
