Suraj's parents are talking.
father says he never thought he will ever live see a day like this.
mother says the people, around us, are changing their colors. people first respected us and now those same people are now talking about us and khanak in a way that its painful to hear. can't they see khanak's pain? since suraj left, the happiness left us.
father says that i keep wondering the same question. He says kismat has played quite a game with his life. In one moment(Suraj's death), it left him khokla. It left him weak and broken inside. He says how happily they married Suraj to Khanak..and today that same happiness turned into sadness. He felt he lost, everything. He couldn't do anything, earn money nor respect. He couldn't do anything for haveli. He couldn't stop suraj's death. He can't do anything to take away Khanak's sadness. Now Shaan is taking decision of khanak's life, and I can't do anything abt that either.
Khanak arrives outside the room.

Natasha comes to Shaan's home
her sis questions her. Nats tells her abt how she wants to go to Dhulwadi to support Shaan, how she tried to run away. Shaan's mom hears this. He remembers Suraj's falling, Sarpanch making the decision, people talking abt widows shaadi. Choksi comes. Shaan asks for any good news and Choksi says no one is ready to marry a widow. Nats says why won't you answer phone and give replies to my messages. Shaan starts to reply but then thinks abt if he should tell Nats abt Khanak's letter and then he just says I had a bad day. Shaan is waiting at kali ghat.
