Sunny Deol stays clear of Afghanistan

Did you know that the on screen macho hero SunnyDeol could also be nervous? Never thought so, right? Well he too, like anybody else, was not willing to go to Afghanistan, as he was required to be there for 25-30 days. This was for the shoot of his portion of a film to be shot there.

And hence, since Sunny wasn't willing to go there, his shoot for the film happened in Laddakh, as both the places have a certain resemblance.

By the way we are talking about Ammtoje Mann's film Kafila, which has Sunny working opposite Pakistani actress Sana. The film is 75% complete. A major schedule of the film is being shot in Punjab. Other sequences like Malta boat tragedy will be shot in London and Hyderabad.

The film is slated for a mid-2006 release, and is about illegal immigration. Ammtoje Mann and Tony Sandhu are producing it. The music is by Sukhwinder Singh.
