I m not sure if u guys have watched it but there was once a serial called HUm pardesi ho gaye...which used 2 come on...Sony tv...........da storyline was almost da same....The NRI boy pretended 2 b nice and perfect...da girl was innocnet she fell in love...and later on....after they go abroad............He discloses that he married her bcs he needed some1 to look after his parents.....and he had a girlfriend already!! 😭 ......

anyway Geet is better...its more well-presented and dramatic!! 😊

yes....i used to watch that show....the NRI boy was played by ashish chowdhury and his gf was perizad zorabian.
but i dunno how the show ended.

I use to watch the show and it was an awesome show and still my no1 show, i have never seen a show that accomplished and well directed, and it should not be compared with geet, geet is also a good serial but it is a little bit different from hum perdesi hogaye, Rahul dumped malika after taking her to USA while Dev dumps geet on the Airport.

I know it take long but it will great to see an innocent geet turning into a strong woman.

guys plzzz dont compaer these two shows...there rahul used 2 live in USa and even he was married against his parents wish...he wanted to marry perizad zorabian....and in tht soap they girls family was not so conservative.....but in this show if sumthing happens to geet they will blame definitely geet...becoz this family does not respect girls...in geet, dev and co. pretended tht they r from canada....they created a drama...

I agree with you... but in a way it's better then that serial because it's also touching upon other issues like family pressure on girls to marry and to some extent honour killing (through Geet's brother).
