Just take a look at the old episodes: Did they flirt around? Never. Did they have stupid animated bullets and what not(non realistic). Very rarely. Were there demeaning jokes played on Fredericks? Nope. Did they have a proper procedures of investigation? Absolutely. Did they have strange crimes being done? Absolutely. Were they always murders? Nope. Did most of them make you sit on the edge of your seat?Heck yeah.

Nowadays, its just, "put the word 'khooni','laash','qatil','rahasya' in the title and be done with it"... (okay, okay I know this doesnt really matter, but just making a point people 😛 )

I agree on this one too. The case titles earlier were actually innovative and even subtle (such as one of my favourites - 'The Case of the clue in the ashes') but nowadays they sound horribly cliched and often aren't even accurate about what the case is about. How much time and effort is it going to take them to just come up with a decent title, like they used to before? I also agree with the rest of your points - I mainly feel that aura of threat and suspense from the previous episodes (especially ones that involved diffusing bombs or preventing murder/crimes at the last minute) is missing from most of the new episodes, which was one of the major reasons I enjoyed the show so much back then (I still do, but these fine points are like icing on the cake! 😊 ). I'm also sick of the lame Fredericks' buffoonery, the flirting crap and promotion of other shows. The earlier episodes too had proper comic relief at the appropriate time, but they never went over the top like they do now.

Another point - earlier they used techniques like sniffer dogs to proceed with the investigation, which really gave the show an authentic feel. I wish they revive that trend again!

Apart from all the points mentioned here, i guess one of the most important difference is- old episodes were so realistic! i mean, it wasnt hyped or anything... just for an instance, they at times showed the police department, also the seniors to ACP...but now CID is as if a seperate entity!! And the line which is common to all the latest episodes:
Someone: "Khoon? Abhi CID ko phone karta hoon!"
Now tell me, if there is a murder, do we immediately call the CID?? in the old episodes we saw at times, the cases were handed over to the CID team by the police..which happens in reality! for example the CASE OF THE UNDERCOVER COP , where we see ACP takes the case of the drug dealing into his hands...from the police department!
