Small Story

Group of people drag a woman who is accused of adultery and they want her to stone her to death. Jesus declares : Let the one without sin be the first to throw a stone."

He not only condemns the death penalty, he points out the sinfulness within each one of us, and disarms our righteous revenge and our intent to kill.
We judge people for their sins and transgressions in their lives without considering the errors of our own ways, we know it's impossible to do that unless we're living a sin free life. There are so many temptations, sins, iniquities, transgressions to live totally sin free.
Even King Solomon as wise as he was; stated these verses in Ecclesiastes:
Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise:
why shouldest thou destroy thyself.
Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time.
For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

These are all famous verses of King Solomon, telling us about sin and righteousness and letting us know that there a balance between the good and the bad, and we have to find that balance between the two and live our lives accordingly. If we live our lives according to God's word then we won't have any reason to cast stones at anyone.

Relation to CB: Mahant, who is suppose to be DharamAdhikari, Dharm Rakshak (Head of Religious Dharm), is himself not free of qualities like -- Krodh (anger) .
When he first came to resolve the issue, he did not even let Radhika talk, even today, he was so full of anger (being a Mahant, he should be free of anger and all Maya moh) and was pratically screaming his lungs off at Radhika...............
Yes, Radhika had done wrong by speaking silent, but even Yudhistir who was consider Dharm raj, had to lie, that Ashwathama was killed (even though it was only elephant), yet he lied......He lied to save Dharm, and Radhika had to lie to save the izzat of both families)............
But before punishing Radhika, what punishment will give to Mrinalini, who neither wears mangalsutra, nor has Sindoor............And what punishment will he give to himself, for jumping to deicisions, and for having so much anger being a mahant???
It is said that one cannot see one's own back, like wise, he is not able to see his own short comings.................
Hence, I dont think he has any right to punish Radhika...........as "He That Is Without Sin, Cast The First Stone"
Your thoughts............

The best one.
I always think of the same. When sonebody is in saint path, they should all be free from kama, krodha, lobha, moha....Their face should reflect all these qualities, without saying that he is a saint , one hsould make out from the aiswarya of their face. For this quality you need not to be a saint , we have many examples in front of us.
1. Sree. Latha Mangeshkar: she looks so swathvic, her devotion to songs are reflected on their face.
2. Sree. Ravi Sankar: he is a siant, but more than anything it is his calmness and his simple smile attracts millions of people.
and many more..
But then why they are showing this mahanth this way.. I felt so bad when i saw his charactor,. He can show ar word his decision in a better way, doesn't need to show off like this.
👏👏👏👏
I am with you Anu.

great post Anu, mahantji wants to hang Radhika without a trial, as a guru instead of saluting the sacrifices made by this poor girl Radh to protect the Rajpurohit status, he is sentencing Radh to execution, instead of lethal injection, mahant is proposing vishpind on the tongue...CVs are not satisfied with the more than a month of devilish attacks on Radh, now they brought a swamiji to finally nail the coffin...
Like Radh said, may be God has hidden something good in the punishment... I truly hope so. Radh deserves a punishment not execution....

Thanks Devika and KSheila.........This mahant is definitely not free of Krodh and jumping to conclusions.....He should be one like Shant Sagar and listening to both parties, and then coming to decision depending on the circumstances............I am very sure, that something very good will come out this for Radhika.........

They say Diamond cuts diamond, may be this poison will counteract some kind of poison (or burn issues that may lingering) ....I am sure this will prove effective during Pregnancy...............

Anu long time back in Moral Science class in school I remember a Sister explaining to us about judging people and there are three things she told us that has stayed with me till now.......
1) Never judge a book by its covers..........basically it means never judge a person by what is projected to you, always try to go into the reasons behind a persons action.........know the person and then come to any conclusion.
2) Let he who is without sin cast the first stone........as you have mentioned in your post.
3) If we have to judge then we have to do it righteously. Righteously means to use the Truth of the Word to discern sins and not by appearances only. Sometimes we do have to judge to separate good from bad, proper from improper, righteousness from evil. But judge behavior, not the individual; the deed not the doer; the choice not the chooser. The individual/doer/chooser is accountable for his/her deed/choice, but judge the deed/choice in your judgment.
The Mahant did not do any of the three........he is not judging the lie, he is judging the Rajpurohitan who did not follow certain marriage duties. Its all melodrama Anu...........thats what the creatives are interested in for TRPs.

Misti....Nice post................Very true............Mahant possessed neither qualities.........They are doing for TRP's......This is the only Indian soap I have ever watched so far and got addicted to............and will be last soap too................. There are some mind blowing scenes and dialogues, then they come up with some lame melodrama..............cannot believe that they are same creatives.................

I agree with you Anu. Mahantji does not have right to punish
Raj Purohitain. You right what how about Mrin who does not wear manglasutra or sindoor. He is of high post.......he should have been calm and listen to her story and then make judgement.

Anu,
Good post.

Actually Dev tells a small story to explain Radhika's situation. The Mahanth replies back telling that he is judging the Rajpurohitain and not his wife. My argument to in favour of Dev or Radhika would be - Well that story that Dev told a while back still hold good whether it is Rajpurohitain or Radhika. So, I do not see the logic in Mahanth going on with his punishment thing. It was illogical to me. Creatives can only think of such stupid illogical things.

Bee: What Mahant said was, Dev has right to forgive his wife, but not RP.....As a mahant, only he had right to "Punish" RP..............But he who himself has so many shortcomings, what right he has to give "dand" to Radhika? Yes, creatives need some melodrama, as you rightly said, hence they show illogical stuff............
