The most shocking part of today's episode has been overlooked by a lot of people...
Lets rewind and see ...sid today said the biggest truth .....I GOT MARRIED TO RIDHIMA BECAUSE I LOVED HER...I THOUGHT SAB KUCH THEEK HO JAYEGA...
AR Fans had repeatedly pointed out that it might not be totally Sid's noble intentions that had made him marry Ridhima...but no we were repeatedly bombarded with the following arguments... Sid was labeled noble, he sacrificed for her honor, he stood by her in her moment of dishonor, uska haath thama...
Today the truth was out...he did not marry bcoz of nobility, married coz he had already fallen for her, and in his heart he found a way to get her and thought once we are married , everything will be all right, she will forget armaan and we will be happy...this is what was the basis of this marriage...not sid's nobility but his one sided love for Ridhima...
So lets put this in the proper sequence...ridz sid meet, they fight, hate goes out of hand, sid prints pictures, the defamation occurs, ridz gets to know the truth about armaan, goes crazy looking for him, shanky sends sid....pay attention here...sid sees how crazy ridz is for armaan, she does not even care about her life, anything...he knows she is engaged to someone...he is actually helping her find him...AND THEN HE FALLS FOR HER....coz that is the only time he could fall in love before marriage...then comes the hypothermia sequence....then at the hospital he saves her life, he already had fallen...and offers to marry her to save her from disgrace...and the marriage...
lets rewind this further now ..so he was already attracted to ridhima even during the hypothermia incident....so his decision was not that of a doctor alone but of a fellow colleague who was smitten by another one....i am not saying that he took advantage of this situation and slept with her....but if it might have been any other girl other than ridhima, he migh have tried harder to reach the village .....in light of his confession that he was already attracted...his actions fall in the grey area..did he really try all his best...unknowingly he might not have..
And so his anger against ridz after marriage, his harsh treatment all did stem from his inability to tolerate her love for another...coz he was in love
what a way to go about achieving a woman who u already knew is crazily in love with another man !!! And now ridhima's statement is maine is shaadi ko kismat samajh ke maan liya....the girl accepted this marriage as a traditional indian girl...as her fate....
Now what do we have to say about this....
