Luv is a grown up now, he should be able to deal with failure, so Shotgun should just not be making these kinda statements.😕

All GOOD dads defend their child. Big B defended his son a lot. And Anil Kapoor fight sonam's battle when he was asked a long time ago about comparison with other newcomer .... he said, "Other actresses who take on a lot of movies at the same time have bills to pay."

But I agree the fact that Randhir has NEVER helped or defended both of his daughters. He stayed out of their life and let them be independent. Fight their own battles.

^^ I totally agree with u on that all good dads defend their children. I have seen AB and Anil and Rishi defending their kids, but each time, what they said was only defending, not blaming.
Amitabh never justified why every movie of Abhishek's was flopping, he just said, he needs time. They all accepted their kids' movies flopping, and they believed in their kids.
I really didnt like how Shatru here is saying "Why be so harsh with Luv? Does he not deserve a chance just because he is my son?"
The media has always been harsh with star kids, so there is no question about that.
I guess i just didn't expect this from someone who has been in this industry for so long and who knows what the industry can be like. Some of those quotes totally made my eyebrows pop.

Shatru is out of his mind. He thinks people don't like Luv because that's his son. I'm being HONEST here but the only reason why I'm interest in reading this article is because Luv is Shatru's son. He's a huge star in his old times. He's son is not good looking and he doesn't have talent, I wouldn't even waste my time talking or looking at him if he wasn't Shatru's son.

Just think about it, who would even cast him on their movies if he wasn't Shatru's son. If he was a regular guy, he wouldn't even have a chance to be in a movie

I am not sure maybe i missed those times but i haven't seen Anil commenting his frustration to the media. He let Sonam fight her own battle. Same for Amitabh, he did praised Abhishek for Guru but other than that, he fought his own battle. I never seen comments from anil of how he thought of Sonam in Saawariya or Delhi 6. Now if critics didn't like Shotgun son then we could understand but what about the audience??

Along with respect Shatru should have taught his son to take criticism in his stride and learn from his mistakes. I mean come on Hrithik Roshan was dubbed as "finished," Abhishek Bachchan gave flop after flop and was hurled failure from left right and center. Tushar Kapoor STILL hasn't proved himself. Esha Deol's career ended before it even started, then we have Fardeen and Zayed I mean come on the list is long but have you heard them whine and complain. I understand as a parent you are upset but did you hear these actors parents say "give my boy a chance, he is new" blah blah

If Luv wants to grow in this industry then he should learn to take the negative and turn it into something positive.
