Yup, I am talking about the Agnipariksha that happened in Ramayan....putting that aside..
I am writing my views and opinions here which will definitely not match with a lot of people's on this forum...plz note honestly that i have no intentions of hurting anyone's feelings....so please excuse..
Since the day Sid started on his AR milao campaign...a lot of people decided to take the view that he is doing a selfless and wonderful job...i couldnot identify with that view point..somewhere what it reeked of was insecurity and mistrust....he in essence wanted to wait and watch and see where Ridhima's loyalty lay...mark my words 'loyalty'...coz in his deepest of hearts he knew that he n Ridz were not yet in love....always felt that he was really not open about his actions because he was testing Ridhima...he stood on the side like a spectator watching a show from the sidelines....his not wanting to get involved might not have been his open mindedness or big heartedness...u just do not stand on the sides..when the one u love goes through this kind of pain..u cannot and will not remain a silent spectator and say u know she has to make a decision....i wanna see whom she decides to stay with...in his conversation with his friends on the terrace he said the same in these actual words.
...and no people this time do not blame Ridhima...she is not always wrong...her behaviour with Armaan is not wrong or heartless and her understanding of Sid is not wrong either...please stop blaming the woman here just because u find the male actors hot and so they cannot do no harm in ur eyes...be fair...
In my mind even before today's episode when Ridz opened her mouth...i labelled Sid's behaviour as 2010 version of Agnipariksha...my heart and mind sees similarities ...however times change...some things never change

Ok.. SO nice a topic .. much sensible and not at all repetitive I must say😳👏

I will try to put my points one by one..

1. First of all, let's not bring the epic Ramayan here.. Becoz if I am not mistaken, Raam is an avtar of Lord Krishna in Treta Yug.. And I don't feel very nice to think Sid as God or an avtar of God😕🤔 he is just a normal cute lovable human being.. That's it :)

2. Raam's agnipariksha.. No matter how much sensible this issue is, I have to say, I dont agree to it at all.. And I never support such kinda things in real life either.. Which is why I didn't liek what Sid did at all.. And I always felt he should be confronted by Ridz for making her do that.. Watching ur wife getting married to someone else, and behaving liek a spectator aint a nice thing for a married couple :(

3. Sid again and again mentioned that it was not the 'loyalty' but it was love.. He didn't want to disclose that marriage to his mom, becoz he thought social obligations will come in Ridz's way, which he doesnt want at all ! :) He wanted to test her love ( that was wrong too ).. And not loyalty..

4. No matter what and how Sid thought it to do, but his intentions are what make us fall for him.. And for his love.. :) Ridz is the ultimate priority for him, and we love Sid for that :)

Agree to the last para whole-heartedly !👏

Prerna just a question.... Sid hide the truth from his mom before he knew that Armaan is back. I think i'm right here. So question of social obligation didn't arise here. He hid the truth from his mom because he simply can't confess that he's married to Ridz.

This post had no intention first and foremost of comparing our confused Sid with Lord Ram...God forbid....the point here was that men, especially hubbies, and how they like to test their wives and their loyalties...not such an extreme as the epic Ramayan...but Sid too decided to do that
2. And about me supporting that kind of testing of a woman...not in a million years..not amout of ideology or logical arguments can make me change my mind about this...ever..and glad to know that u are sailing in the boat as me as far as this aspect is concerned
3. Whatever Sid...i would prefer to interpret his actions and come to a logical conclusion than listen to his justifications and explanations
4. And Ridz was, is and hoping that in the future too will remain Armaan's only priority 😊
Thanks for responding to my post with honest responses, I really appreciate that and also we might be looking from different perspectives but we are looking at the same scene...right 😉

No, I disagree, this agni pariksha is very different from Ramayana because here Ridz had a past, whereas in Sita's case her past, present and future were all Ram. I don't think Sid was actually testing her. I think he is just too intimidated by the intensity of AR love because he has seen how crazy ridz was for him, so he is just trying to give her a chance to go back if she wants because in reality they really haven't had any husband wife kind of relationship.

In fact, IMO, here Ram (Armaan IMO and not Sid) is going through agnipareeksha after agnipareeksha...poor guy has had to prove and justify his love for Ridz time and again...
