Riddhima's looking at armaan who's sleeping, under the effect of medicines, she kept on caressing his hair, lost in thoughts, as armaan lightly tightens his finger around her finger, she came in present, he made a painful face, riddhima quickly bends down and caressed his head that's covered with bandages, when he didn't felt relaxed, riddhima placed her cheeks on his forehead slightly kisses him with teary eyes, after sometime rahul entered in room, riddhima didn't react just kept on caressing armaan, rahul's lil taken aback when saw her condition, he moved his hand towards her shoulder but brought it back as past came in his mind…

Ra: riddhima…

R: (getting up) sorry dr. rahul maine aapko dekha nahi…

Ra: (nodded) armaan kaisa hai??? (riddhima looked him quizzically) I mean… I mean..

R: thoda time lagega, itna aasan nahi hota na sab, par mujhe yakeen hai mera armaan jayda time nahi lega kyunki usse situations se dur bhaagne ki aadat nahi hai, bahut strong hai mera armaan.. (she said this while looking at him, she knew he's wide awake but didn't have courage to look around, she laid stress on each and every word and hold his hand with her both hands, but she felt as his hands're weakening but she held his hands with more affirmness and lightly mumbled) tum chaho bhi to kamjor nahi pad sakte armaan kyunki mai tumhe kabhi kamjor padne hi nahi dungi armaan, chahe to aajma kar dekh lena….she cleared his tear and caressed his head, and got up, rahul did check-up and asked riddhima to come outside the room, saying so he left, she followed him..)

Ra: riddhima armaan ke bahari jakhm 1-2 months tak ache se bhar jayenge par.. (he stopped)

Ra: riddhima ye sach hai ki wo chal nahi payega, agar usse proper massage treatment aur acupressure treatment bhi diya tab bhi 1% chance hai ki thodi bahut movements ho uski leg mai par uske liye bhi tumhe saalon intejar karna padega, kyunki results bahut dheere dheere milte hai, riddhima mai tumhe koi jhooti ummeed mai nahi rakhna chahta, armaan ki condition iss se bhi worst ho sakti hai aane waale time mai,

may be usse time lage sambhalne mai par koshish karna jayda na lage usse accept karne mai. It's 6 o'clock in morning when one nurse entered in room saying "dressing", riddhima looked at armaan and asked her to come later as he's sleeping, then she slightly kisses on armaan's head and mumbled "armaan aankhein kholo…" after 5 minutes he finally opened hhis eyes, riddhima passed a bit smile, then got up, armaan weakly holds her hand..

A: riddhimaa…

R: (before he could say) sister ko bulane jaa rahi hun, tumhari dressing ka time ho gaya hai..

A: kya mai kabhi chal nahi paunga… (riddhima looked him for a second, then detangled her hand from his grip)

R: mai sister ko bulakar laati hun.. (she quickly came out from room and cried a bit when felt someone's hand on shoulder, she opened her eyes and was shocked to see ankit standing in front of her, riddhima quickly cleared her tears and turned to go, when..)

Ak: I'm sorry riddhimaji, bahut koshish karne par bhi hum armaan ko bacha nahi paye.. (riddhima turned and glared him) I mean uski taango ko,bhagwan bhi kitne ajeeb nirnaye(decisions) leta hai, ek aise insaan ko apahij bana diya jo auro ko hamesha apahij hone se bachata hai, bechare ki jindagi ab hamesha ke liye mohtaj ho gayi chair wheel ki, kabhi chal nahi payega wo, kaise katega pahad sa jeevan uska, bahut taras aa raha hai uski iss haalat ko dekhke..

R: thanks dr. singhaniya, but aapko itna jayda taras khaane ki jarurat nahi hai, hum hai uske baare mai sochne ke liye…

Ak: are riddhimaji aap to gussa ho gayi,au raise kaise na soche unke baare mai, aakhir dr. armaan hamare bhi to dost lagte hai..(he raised his hand and on the verge of placing it on riddhima's shoulder, when she moved back)

R: don't you dare…(pointing him with index finger, saying so she turned, she could reply him further but at that time only armaan's roaming in her mind, many questions were running in her mind, there's no time to react or time to waste on ankit, so she quietly moved, she's surprised to see ritu, chirag, abhi and prachi, chirag and ritu were looking quiet angry, as they moved forward looking at ankit, riddhima stopped them..) chirag bhaiya… (he looked her, riddhima shaked her head, chirag stopped)

Ch: armaan kaisa hai??? (riddhima lowered her gaze, chirag caressed her head)

R: aap challiye andar mai sister ko bulakar laati hun.. (they nodded and entered in room)

A: ab to apko aise hi apne welcome ki adat daalni padegi. Mai normally aapko bed par hi milunga ya wheel chair par…(he passed a fake smile a lil one, all faces that's trying hard to lighten the atmosphere came down in a second, all exchanged looks, and suddenly looked at door when heard some bottle like thing broken into pieces and found riddhima standing at door with tears and before anyone could react she ran, ritu, prachi followed her, where as chirag, abhi stayed back..)

Ridhima entered in fire escape and taking the support of wall she slided down, crying hard, ritu came from back and settled next to riddhima, riddhima hugged her tightly, ritu caressed her, prachi too patted her..

R: ritu kya hoga aage, mai chah kar bhi nahi accept kar paa rahi iss waqt ko, wheel chair…. kaise… armaan kaise…. (she sobbed)

Ri: riddhima dekh agar tu hi aise tut jayegi to armaan to waise hi bikhar jayega, riddhima khud ko to tujhe sambhalna hi padega, apni family ke liye hi sahi… (she nodded, ritu cleared her face) chal uth aur jaakar sambhal apne armaan ko…(riddhima smiled a bit and got up, when they reached outside armaan's room, chirag told them that his dressing's going on, all nodded, but when riddhima heard armaan's painful voice, she entered in room, one nurse's rubbing wet cloth on his body and one boy's trying to take out his upper and armaan's having pain..)

R: sister ye aap kaise sponge kar rahi hai???? Aur bhaiya aapko upper uttarna nahi aata??? Dikh nahi raha kitna pain ho raha hai armaan ko… hatiye mai karti hun…

R: maine kaha na mai karti hun, armaan ki condition nahi pata kya aapko??? Uski arm fractured hai aur phir bhi aap unki baaju ko hila rahi hai, baitha nahi jaa raha unse aur aap unhe bithane ki koshish kar rahein hai....

WB: unka upper change karna tha, agar dr. arman lete rehte to kaise change karte..

R: I think aapko training lene ki jarurat hai abhi, hatiye mai karti hun… (armaan's making painful faces, he's aching everywhere, riddhima quickly moved to him, when sister and ward boy didn't move, riddhima glared them) maine kaha hatiye…

WB: mam, hume karne dijiye, dr. shashank se hume daant pad jayegi…

R: chinta mat kariye mai unhe kuch nahi kahungi, ab hatiye… (they moved aside with unsurity, riddhima placed her arm on his shoulder, he winced with pain, riddhima removed her hand and mumbled sorry and from other arm, she carefully made him settled on bed, then opened his shirt buttons, pained once when saw his body covered with bandages, but then started doing his dressing very carefully, then she kissed on his forehead and smiled) abhi bhi pain ho raha hai???? (settled next to him)

A: ( placing his head in her lap) tum jab bhi saath hoti ho to dard khud hi darr kar doom daba kar bhaag jaata hai… (he smiled with tears, riddhima caressed him and thought "kaash mai tumhare dard ko sach mai dara kar tumse dur kar sakti, in between one nurse came and placed lunch for armaan, first armaan said no but riddhima asked him to take food for her sake, then she feeded him…)

After 2 days..

Rahul's standing at reception when riddhima came from back…

R: dr. rahul…

Ra: (turned) riddhimaa… tum.. kuch kaam tha?? Armaan theek hai???

R: mujhe kuch baat karni thi… (rahul closed his file)

Ra: haan bolo???

R: mai armaan ko ghar le jaana chahti hun…

Ra: (with shock) kyaaa???? Tumhe pata bhi hai kya keh rahi ho tum riddhima??? Armaan ka abhi itna bada operation hua hai, 20 days tak usse under observation rakhna hai, har roj check karna hota hai ki uski progress

kya hai aur..

R: (cutting him) yaha rehkar uski kuch bhi progess nahi hogi dr. rahul.. aap khud hi bataiye ki last 3 days mai kitni progress hui hai uski???

Ra: riddhima hum uski medicines change kar rahein hai na, dheere dheere progress hoyegi…

R: emotional aur mental stability ke liye koi medicine nahi hoti dr. rahul, aapne khud hi kaha tha na mujhe..

Ra: hum usspar baad mai dhyan de sakte hai riddhima, par abhi hamari pehli koshish ye hai ki physically uska jo loss hua hai usse hum pura kar de..

R: aur aapke uss loss ko pura karne ke chakkar mai armaan apne sochne samajhne ki shakti hi kho de, ye kaha par likha hai ki patient ko ek bimari se nikalne ke liye dusri bimari gift kar do, 1 month.. aapko pata bhi hai, 1 month mai uski condition kya se kya ho sakti hai, usse physical se jayda mentally aur emotionally healing ki jarurat hai, physically to wo aaj nahi to kal theek ho hi jayega…

Ra: to yaha kya problem hai riddhima?? Mentally aur emotionally tum usse heal karti raho, aur hum uska treatment karte hai…

R: yaha par wo mentally theek nahi rahega.. (she almost screamed in irritation, rahul looked around and so as riddhima, everyone's looking at them, riddhima lowered her voice)I'm sorry..

Ra: kya hua hai riddhima itna pareshan kyu ho???

R: tumhe kya lagta hai dr. rahul armaan mai 3 dino se koi progress kyu nahi hui??? Medicines ki wajah se??? medicines apna result de rahi hai par ye atmosphere hi usse heal nahi hone de raha, wo kissi ko face karne se bhi ghabrane laga hai, kyunki har waqt har jagah uski baatein chalti hai, kya tum andaza bhi laga sakte ho ki wo kiss state se nikal raha hai iss waqt, iss se jayda worst aur kya hoga ki wo apne dosto ko dekhkar bhi khush hone ki jagah aankhein band kar leta hai, 1 mahine tak ka to intejar hum kar hi nahi sakte..

Ra: to tum chahti kya ho???

R: armaan ka discharge, abhi aur issi waqt…

Ra: riddhima tumhe pata bhi hai ki kitna bada risk le rahi ho tum??? Ghar par medical facilities kaha se laogi, yaha har pal koi na koi doctor hota hai, nurse aur wardboy rehta hai uske pass, ghar par kaun dhyan rakhega???

R: mai hu dr. rahul uske pass, uske saath..

Ra: par tum usse medically to support nahi kar paogi na..

R: par ek acha environment to de paungi, kuch palon ke liye hi par uska dhyan to divert kar paungi, usse yakeen to dilwa paungi ki physically problem hone se jindagi nahi rukti, uske hotton par kuch palon ke liye muskurahat to laa paungi, uske dil mai jo khud ke liye kadwahat bhar gayi hai usse bhulwa paungi shayad, pichle 3 dino se wo soya nahi hai dr. rahul, phir aap kaunsi medical treatment dene ki baat kar rahein hai, aapke patient ko ek second ka relax nahi mil paa raha, kya aisi hi medical treatments hoti hai??? Chaen cheenkar bechaini dene waali???

Ra: riddhima….

R: please dr. rahul, I beg you just for the sake of my husband, believe me, bahut sochkar faisla liya hai maine, wo yaha recover nahi ho payega…

Ra: (placing hand on her arm and nodded with unsurity) mai arrangements karwata hun uske liye…

R: thanku dr. rahul…

Ra: ek baar phir sochlo riddhima, ghar par aasaan nahi hoga armaan ki proper care karna..

R: aur agar hospital mai rahe to bahut mushkil hoga uska har taraf se mind divert karna…. (rahul atlast gave up and asked 1 nurse to prepare discharge papers for armaan, in between riddhima packed things and lightly shaked armaan, but he didn't open his eyes, so she mumbled in his ears "challo armaan hamare ghonsle mai chalte hai", armaan lightly opened his eyes and looked at her quizzically, riddhima mumbled "aise kyu dekh rahe ho???"

A: ghonsla???

R: armaan natak mat karo, mujhe pata hai tumhari yadash theek hai, tum to mere bholepan ka jayda hi fayda utha rahe ho… (armaan gave her a weird look and mumbled bholi aur tummm….., bholi nahi bumb ki goli ho, goli) aa haaaa aaaa haaa aaa aur tum kya ho…. Atom bumb ka gola… (making a teasing face, making him smile for a minute, he forgot his pain in that minute and riddhima admire him from heart, wanna hug him but thought to first lock his smile in her own eyes, in between one nurse came)

Nu: dr. riddhima ji discharge paper ready hai…

R: (got up and smiled) dr. riddhima nahi, mrs. Riddhima malik, aap challiye mai aati hun..

A: discharge papers???

R: we're going back to our nest baby.. (caressing his face, then packing bag)

A: means we're going back to home??? (Riddhima nodded… and before he could ask anything, she moved out , armaan's slightly happy but confused too, atlast riddhima took papers from nurse…

Ra: are you sure riddhima???

R: more than anything… (she signed papers)

Ra: riddhima tumhe sanjeevani ki van ghar chod aayegi, usme maine sab rakhwa diya hai, machines, medicines, injections, saline bottle and blood bottle, armaan ka bahut blood loss hua hai, beech mai ek baar jarurat pad sakti hai usse blood chadhane ki, sister tara aur sunil armaan ki help ke liye 40 days ke liye wahi par rahenge, unhe maine sab samjha diya hai, agar koi bhi problem ho to mujhe call kar lena, mai wahi armaan ka check up karne aa jaya karunga, jab tak armaan proper theek na ho jaye usse hospital mat laana…

R: (nodded) thanks dr. rahul (saying so she turned, and shouted "aaaahhhhh" as she bumped in a wheel chair) sisterrrr..(with irritation)

Si: I'm sorry riddhimaji, wo achanak se… (in between announcement's made for her) riddhimaji aap dr. armaan ke hi room mai jaa rahi hai na..(she nodded) to phir hi ye wheel chair le jaiye, surgery shuru hone waali hai agar time par na pahunchi to dr. shashank se bahut daant pad jayegi…

R: (with surprise) par ye wheel chair kyu??

Si: dr. armaan ke liye… (she's stunned, for a minute she didn't move..)

Ra: riddhimaa.. riddhimaaaa…

R: (she came in present and looked at rahul, then wheel chair) mai to bhul hi gayi thi ki abhi ye face karna baaki rah gaya hai, (again her eyes got filled, she with shivered hands hold wheel chair and slowly slowly proceeded, and stopped in front of fire escape, found her and armaan's image, armaan coming close to her, his face near hers and making her breathless, tears dropped from her eyes when her eyes when heard basket, riddhima, baskeettttt.. yo baskettt

and two images ran around her, she smiled in tears but soon those images disappeared and armaan sitting on wheel chair came in front of her eyes, her smile vanished completely, she kept on looking that image, his eyes's full of emotions, screaming badly but his lips didn't utter a single word, all the pain's buried in his eyes, riddhima didn't need his words, she just opened her arms for him, image came to her and hide itself in her… soon that image disappeared,

riddhima looked here and there, and then back at wheel chair and cried thinking " pata nahi kal kya lekar aayega apne saath hum dono ke liye", then she cleared her tears and slowly slowly moved forward, thinking "how'll she enter in armaan's room", she stopped in front of his room and shaked badly, her heart thumped against her chest and gaining some strength she peeped inside and found him with closed eyes,

she quietly opened his door and entered in room, then tried to move wheel chair, but his last wheel got struck in door and when riddhima pushed it, it made lot of noice causing armaan to open his eyes, ridhima dragged wheel chair in, and stopped there only when saw armaan gazing her with mixed emotions, riddhima shivered deeply and started looking down, and looked up when heard some sound of glass and quickly rushed when found armaan

trying to get up, wincing with pain, riddhima holds him..

R: armaaannnnnnn….. ye kya kar rahe ho???? (threw her hands) armaaannn… (with shock, he again tried to get up, riddhima holds him) armaan kya kar rahe ho.. (armaan again pushed her and tried to get up and screamed as his back ached) armaan kya hua???(holding him tightly, armaan this time didn't detangled himself but tried to move back still having pain, as if trying to move in secluded place) armaannnnnnnnnnn…. (she lightly shaked him) what happened???? (armaan looked in her eyes, riddhima asked him again, this time with all the love) kya hua jaan??? (armaan this time broke down in her arms, riddhima bends down and hugged him)

A: riddhima I can't…(he holds her with one hand tightly and literally he cried loudly, hiding his face in her collar bone) I can't….. mujhe ye jindagi nahi chahiye riddhima…..

R: (detangling him) armaan… (holding his face) nahi baby.. aisa nahi kehte… armaan…. (he sobbed hard like a little baby)

A: please mujhe theek kar do, mujhe theek hona hai… (he looked at wheel chair and holds her more tightly with horror) wheel chair.. mujhe theek hona hai… (riddhima caressed him and herself cried)

R: armaan aise himmat haar gaye to jindagi kaise challegi??? Maana thodi dikkatein ayengi par ho jayega armaan, mai hun na har pal tumhare saath…(she kept on caressing him, after half hour armaan felt little better, and he nodded in her arms saying he'll face it, riddhima kisses him on forehead, armaan looked at wheel chair thinking "shayad yehi aane waale waqt ne hamare liye decide kiya hai.."

Riddhima removed his sheet and placed his legs down, one nurse came running and asked her to let her help, but riddhima said " no sister I'll do it", she moved her arms under armaan's arm and carefully raised him, first felt little imbalanced but then made him settled on wheel chair and placed sponge pillow on his chair for his back comfort, then passed him a smile, armaan initially felt low but smiled when riddhima kissed him on forehead, then lightly touched his lips, and took sleeping aarish in her arms and from one hand holds armaan's chair and all goes out, riddhima took armaan out from back door as she didn't want anyone to comment, may be she's running from everyone but this's what she felt best for armaan at that time…
