Its very nice to see preeti falling in love with SK. but all this looks like a fairy tale to me...... A girl born and brought up in an affluent family will always repent not marrying someone with same life style especially when it is an arranged marriage.... all rich men are not bad there are rich men well educated, compassionate and loving.....

Ok preeti was upset with SK so she left home, comes to meet sumi and see rishi hitting her gets upset and realises how good SK is.... lets imagine rishi is a good man... preeti comes to meet sumi...sumi is upset about something her father in law said and rishi is consoling sumi and tells her that he will always support her and make sure that none of his family member or anybody hurts her. how would have preeti felt then... she would have felt like a loser. if rishi was portrayed as a balanced loving and caring man then SK would have stood no chance...... a girl like preeti will always respect some one like SK but to fall in love i don't believe so...... It was SK good luck that rishi is bad.... IF rishi was good preeti would always have had inferiority complex...she might settle down, have children but will feel cheated till her death that she got married to someone who does not suit her........

the only reason i am happy that rishi is bad is that saroj will suffer when she gets to know... it will be like someone gave her atight slap

I agree that this could've been the case and it all does seem fairytale but still SK is a nice person and maybe she would've fallen for this later if not sooner 😊

Very well said in the above two posts.

I would just add that -

time is a good healer

human nature is to love and

women in our culture are brought up to endure.

Life is a mix of good and bad. Her cousin if had the rich man Rishi as very respecting and nice, who knows what else had gone missing from her life. Onthe other hand, if Preeti did not get someone like Shahid and the riches, she got a person who is mature and very respectful.

I just hope that the creative team do not make this a regular saas bahu serial and bring out the balance in these two characters to show how they deal with their circumsatnces and emerge as smart women of today's India.

Hmm...interesting point!

But I must point out that the reason for Preeti's mother rejecting Rishi was not because he was rich. But because her mother could sense something else wrong with Rishi.
And plus the point of the show is about how personality matters more than looks so I don't think it has anything to do with rich men & poor men

Now its possible that Preeti could have seen that Rishi was good and all but if he was then she would've been married to him in the first place.

Basically the serial is just trying to make its point. But then again you have a point as well because it all seems too impossible.
