Chapter 1
I sighed as I quickly made the roti and placed it on the stove.The air blew in and irritated my hair as I sighed and tied my hair up and quickly made orange juice for chachi.
"HEER!DOES IT TAKE YOU THAT LONG TO MAKE ME FOOD!YOU DOG!"Chachi scremed loudly as I sighed and quickly took the amgo juice and walked out of the kitchen.
"Chachi here orange juice,"I said breathless as I handed it to her.She glared at me and pulled my wrist as I yelped in pain.
"Ow!Chachi!"I screamed as she bended it.
"You slow machiene!You can't even feed me properly!I wnated NO PULP!"Chachi screamed as she digged her nails deeper into my arm.
"I'm s-s-s-s-s-orry,"I said stuttering as she held me.
"You better be!"Chachi screamed and she turned me around and threw the whole glass of juice right on my face.I looked at her shocked as she smirked and threw me on the floor.
"This is what you get!You don't obey me and this is what you get!NOW go up to your room!"Chachi said loudly as she looked at me in deep anger.I nodded and quickly ran to my room in tears.I closed the door and ran up to my bed in deep tears.
This is my happy ending.......My parents ahv edied when i was five and after that chachi took care of me,well asit's take care if you put abuse and being treated like a servant in the definition of it.Actually,it was that I inheritated all the property after all I was an onyl child and the person who would ahve been my caretaker would get it all and so did chachi.if I get married before my twenty first birthday my chachi will get everything,so that is why my chachi has been looking for my rishta for a long time.She's looking for a lot of guys,but msot reject me after they see all those bruises on my face.They're from all the abuse that I receive each day.I sighed as I looked at my parents' picture and place dit against my heart.I jsut want someone to love me and I think that's never possible.I miss you mom and dad....................
Prem's Point Of View-
I smiled as I turned around ym bed and opened my eyes to see Sajana right there.She wiped her hair slowly as she stood there right in her beautiful,hot red saree.She smiled as she turned aorund and looked at me.
"Already awake?"She said as she came up to me and sat next to me.
"I can't sleep without you,"I said as I brought her into my lap and kissed her nose.
"Really?Well,I can't either,but you know the family wants us to not stay with eahcother in one room until the pandit ji says that we can stay in a realtionship,"Sajana said.
"I know,but how can we beelive in that padnit who says that oh your son is goign to die if he sleeps with his wife!"I said rolling my eyes as Sajana giggled.
"How did you come in here?"I said wrapping ym arms aorund her waist.
"I snuck in,"Sajana said proudly as I laughed as I rolled on top of her.
"Really?"I said and she nodded as I pulled her saree's pallu down and started to kiss her neck.
"Prem NO!You know we can't do this,"Sajana said.
"I know,but I wnatto give my v-card to someone!"I said and she giggled as she got up and off the bed.
"Well,you have to wait!"Sajana said tracing my cheek as she walked out of the room.
"UGH!"I screamed as I heard Sajana laugh down the hall.
I sighed as I took a quick shower and ran downstairs to find my wild family.Preet and Arohi as usually were fighting while mom kept on praying and dad busy in his newspaper.
"Goodmorning dad,"I said as I sat next to him.He smiled and looked at me.
"Goodmorning to you too.Congratulations for getting the three million dollar contract,"Dad said and I smiled.
"Thank you,"I said smiling as I turned around and saw Sajana standing there holding a plate of parathas and giving me one.
"Uh-huh,so...........I was thinking.How about we go to Jalandar?"Dad said and I looked up at him in curiosity.
"Why?"I said questionally as I looked at him.
"Oh,um........well,I have to visit my friend, Daljeet,"Dad said smiling.
"Oh,okay,when are we going?"I said.
"This weekend,"Dad said.
"Okay,then I better get packing,"I said smiling and dad smiled too as we started to eat our breakfast.
"Sajana beta this is for you,"Mom said and she looked at Sajana holding her hand and giving her the keys.
"What are you doing?!"Dad said looking at mom in anger.
"Giving Sajana her right,"Mom said.
"She didn't even show any responsibility yet!A girl who ran away from her home to get married to a boy is irresponsible!"Dad said loudly as his face turned red with anger.Here we go again.I mean i ddi do a mistake of running away and getting married to Sajana,but still now we're married can't dad jsut get over it!I sighed.
"Still-"Mom got intruppted again
"So!I don't care give me the keys!"Dad said and Mom gave the keys to him.
"These are mine now!"Dad said and he stomped upstairs as I sighed and looked at Sajana's sad face.
"Bhabi!Don't worry!Dad's like that!"Arohi siad getting up and rubing Sajana's shoulder.
"Afterall,he an old angry,bald man,"Preet said and everyone laughed asI smiled and looked at Sajana.
"Don't worry,I 'm sure you'll win his heart,"I said and I hugged her tightly as everyone looked at us smiling as she sighed and hugged me more tightly.
"I should go and see dad,"I said letting go of her as I walked upstairs tot he library.
"Yes,Daljeet.I can't wait to see Heer.Afterall she can be our future daughter-in-law,"Dad said.I stood there curiously as I looked at him and walke dinto the library.Dad laughed as he sat on his chair.
"Dad who is it,"I said looking at him as dad hung up the phone.
"Well,I was going to call you,but thank God you're here.Let's talk,"Dad said and I nodded as I sat next to him int he chair in front of him.
"Prem,you know Sajana isn't my type of daughter-in-law.She has all the talents,still I don't like her.So,I've been thinking that we should.........get you married again,"Dad said looking at me.I looked at him in shock as he smiled.
"WHAT THE HELL?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"I screamed as I got up and looked at him in deep anger.I clunched my fists as I looked at him.
"Yes,I wnat you to get remarried to someone else!"Dad said.Anger ran through me as I looked at him.
"DAD I LOVE SAJANA!I CAN'T LEAVE HER!!!!!!!!"I screamed.
"You won't.She's going to stay with you.You both will stay with eahcother and also your second wife,"Dad said.
"No...........tis can never happen!"I said.
"Well,then think about it.You'll have money,property,two wives,two pleasures,"Dad said.I looked at him disgusted.
"NO!"I said loudly.
"Well,then you'll see my dead face and I'm serious,"Dad said and he took out a gun and held it against his head.
"NO dad!"I screamed as he pulled on the trigger and I quickly threw it up in the air as it shot out a bullet.
Dad smiled at me as I heard screams and saw the family running upstairs.
"What's wrong?!"Sajana said with a worried look on her face.
"Choose one.Her or me,"Dad said and I looked at Sajana and then dad.I know I'll hurt someone,but I can't hurt dad.He's my father.
"O-k-k-k-k-k-kay I'll marry someone else"I said closing my eyes.Dad smiled as Sajana looked at me shocked.Tears ran down my cheeks as I opened them and saw Sajana looking at me with tears running down her cheeks.She placed her hand on her mouth and ran out of the room as I ran after her.
"Sajana!Wait!"I screamed as she ran dwon the hall.I ran after with full force as she ran into her room.I opened the door and looked at her as she laid there agianst the wall crying her heart out.
"Sajana!Are you okay?!"I said hugging her tightly as she cried.
"Sajana if I said no,then dad would've killed himself,"I said as I whispered in her ear.
"I know.......but I can't share you with anyone besides myself,"Sajana said.
"I know,I can't myself with anyone besides you.I love you,"I said as I kissed ehr forehead passionately as she silently cried into my chest.
Saturday............
Heer's Point Of View-
"Heer!Where are you?!"Chachi screamed.
"I'm coming!"I said running downstairs as I walked up to chachi.
"Well,get ready quickly because the boy's family is coming to see you,"Chachi said.
"Oh,okay,"I said looking down.
"Wear this red suit.I wnat you to look good and it's also good that your bruises have faded away.So,dress up more.One of the richest bussiness man is coming to see you.Prem Juneja.And I wnat you to dress up well,"Chachi said.Prem......Juneja........Isn't he married?I mean my friend knows his younger brother and she said that Prem Juenja got married last month.
"Isn't he married?"I said looking at her.She looked up at me.
"Wow!These days you talk a lot.If he's married why do yuo care?!"Chachi siad.
"That's not right!I can't do this to his wife's life.I can't ruin her life!I can't do such a huge mistake!"I screamed as I looked at her.
"You're going tot ell me what to do!Well,then you know what will happen to you if you don't obey me!"Chachi said and she slapped me right on ym cheek as she pushed me aginst the wall and held ym neck.
"Chachi!"I screamed as she held my neck.
"Chachi ki bacchi!Tell me are you going to obey me!"Chachi said and I nodded andshe threw me on the ground.
"Good!Get dresed!"Chachi screamed and I nodded as I ran upstairs.
Prem's Point Of View-
I sighed as our SUV bumped up and down ont he roads of the village.Sajana looked down sadly as she laid her head on my shoulder and looked outside.This is so boring.My whole life is changing.I'm getting married to this girl who i probably hate right now for saying yes to this marriage.I thought as Arohi and Preet kept on taking pictures from outside.
The SUV finally stopped in fornt a mansion in an abandoned green grass field.I sighed as Sajana got out and I held her hand and walked out.She let of of my hand and went ahead as I sighed and walked after her.
I saw a old lady walking out fo the house and smiling.
"Oh,sat sri akal Daljeet,"Dad said and mom alsos aid sat sri akal as I sighed and looked around rolling my eyes.
"This is,Preet,Arohi,Sajana Prem's wife and this is Prem,"Dad said and I smiled and took her ashriwad.
"Jeeto raho.Anyways,come in.We've been waiting for you all for a long time,"Daljeet Aunty said and I nodded as I walked in and sat on the sofa.
Heer's Point of View-
I took the pot of tea and slowly poured tea into the cups as I stood there in the kitchen.
"Heer!Darling brign the tea!"Chachi said calling me.I quickly placed the duptaa on my head and I sighed as I nervously picked up the tray and walked out.I saw a senior man and women sitting on the sofa with bright smiles on their faces as I saw two girls in their early twenties whispering to eachother and smiling as I saw two other guys talking to eachother.I nervously looked down and wlake dup to them.
"This is Heer,"Chachi said as she looked up at me.
"Sat Sri Akal,"I said to them as I took uncle and unty's ashriwad and placed the tray on the table.I gave them all tea and slowly sat down next to chachi.
"Heer beta,this is Mr.Juneja,Mrs.Juneja,Preet Prem's younger brother,Arohi his younger sister,and Sajana Prem's first wife.This is Prem,"Chachi said and I looked at him.He was handsome.He has pale skin,dark brown eyes,shaggy black hair,and looked very intelligent.He looekd up at me and then down at his phone as I looked at him and then away.
"Heer darling,how about you show Prem the house,"Chachi said looking at me and I nodded as I got up.
"Yes,Prem beta come go with Heer to see the house,"Uncle said looking at Prem.Prem rolled his eyes and got up as we slowly walked out of the living room and upstairs.
I silently walked looking down as Prem tried to make no conversation.
"Um...........this is the balconey,"I said as I walked out in the balconey.The stars lit above us as Prem walked ahead and looked up at the sky.
"Just to tell you.That if we do get married.You are not getting any rights as a wife after the marriage,"Prem said.I looked up at him as he looked up at the sky.
"My first love is Sajana and I consider her as my wife not you.So,even forget about the pleasures of being my wife.You're going to just going sit in a corner and not talk to me or get involved in my life.Do you get that?"Prem said looking at me and I nodded.
"And remember we will never have a realtionship.This is all pretend.Put that in your mind,"Prem said looking into my eyes.My eyes filled with tears that I'm so unlucky that I can't receive one person's love.Prem looked away and walked out as I sighed and looked up at the stars closing my eyes and letting the tears out.......
