Hey guys,
ok, so I am rlly excited to share my views on today's episode with u all bcz I get to comment on season 1 contestants who I have been hearing a lot about!! so, let's get started 😃
From season 1, I just LOVED Siddhesh and Prince!! I found these 2 to be really really good today, and here's what I thought of all the performances:
Dharmesh & Siddhesh - 10 - full on entertaining performance! 👏 I just loved it from beginning to end and enjoyed each and every bit of it! it's performances like these that make me realize exactly why I liked Dharmesh during the audition so much, coz today both Siddhesh and Dharmesh were MINDBLOWING!! I'm happy that Siddhesh was able reach finals in season 1 coz just after watching his today's performance, I have become his fan 😃 good job both of u!
Saajan & Prince - 9.25 - some coordination problem but I just LOVED their performance as well!! both of them were looking so cute and adorable and Prince's movements were so sharp and crisp and Saajan was finally able to shine today 👏 Saajan is a nice boy and I wish him all the best for his future! and I just loved the tissue prop, but Prince used it so much better than Saajan, that was such an amazing idea!! it's just bcz of the little co-ordination problems that I am taking 0.75 point off for these two, otherwise I just LOVED both of them today!! I keep on reading comments abt Jai, Salman and even Alisha on this forum but I am amazed I don't see so much about Prince on this forum bcz he was just rlly amazing today!!
Binny & Mayuresh - 9 - WOW! usually, I am against props and prefer the dancers to dance on the floor but the way both Binny and Mayuresh performed was just excellent. I can now understand y some IF members use to love Mayuresh bcz his and binny's performance was so neat, clean and smooth. it was just flowing, the transitions were rlly rlly good. and while doing the aerial act, transitions can sometime look messy but their performance looked flawless 👏 I'm still giving them a 9 bcz I think the 2 performances mentioned above deserves a little bit more credit =]
Amar & Alisha - 8.5 - I remember Alisha came in DID2 auditions and performed on "chiggy wiggy" and I absolutely loved her at that time and I had high expectations from both Amar and Alisha. I would say they were 95% there but I still expect so much more from Amar and Terence! Amar u r my most favourite contestant left on the show, buckle up and start giving strong performances like ur "kahin to hogi woh" and pasodoble performance again so everyone can see u shine! that being said, I enjoyed thier today's performance as well, its just that it wasn't something exceptional and the prop of the bag bothered me =/ the bag made Amar's moves look shaky at time but I'm hoping u give the best performance next week! I have high hopes from u Amar!!
Amrita & Sunita - 8 - Their performance was good too, I liked it! both of them were looking so pretty together and their coordination was good, but again, it wasn't something exceptional that made me go like "WOW" but, overall, it was a nice and sweet performance =] and btw, why were they commenting on Sunita's weight, she didn't look fat to me =/
Shakti & Jai - 7.5 - I just LOVED the concept of being bhikaris and the whole act was so funny 😆 I enjoyed their acting but not their dance! I have heard a lot abt Jai being a rlly good dancer and how he deserved to be the winner of season 1, so I think it'll be wrong for me to judge him just on today's performance, maybe it was his bad day coz he didn't impress me much =/ overall, I felt the choreography and the concept was rlly rlly good but it wasn't executed properly 👎🏼
Punit & Salman - 7 - the least impressive performance today! just like in Shakti & Jai's case, the concept was something rlly different and nice but the execution had flaws, and for some reason, their performance on the floor also looked rlly dull. I did not enjoy the performance one bit 👎🏼 and as the case was with Jai, I have heard so many things abt Salman as well that how he was so good and all, I guess it was his bad day too today coz I was not impressed by him at all either! and I don't know why some ppl think Salman won bcz of his looks coz he is just an average looking person 😕 even Punit looks better than him. I usually don't comment on a dancer's looks but I saw so many posts saying that Salman won bcz of his looks so when I saw him today, I didn't think he looks that good that ppl are saying all that
Overall, today's episode was full on rocking!! It was so nice to see some fresh faces on DID and I got to see contestants from DID 1 who I have heard a lot abt. I don't rlly have time to watch the whole season 1 on youtube again and personally I wouldn't enjoy it either so I never got a chance to youtube some of these contestants but I was happy to see them there and from what i saw, my favourites were Siddhesh, Prince and Mayuresh (in that order) 😊
and I was just so touched abt the story of Chottu Lohar, I am so happy for him that he got a chance to show his talent and I wish him all the best for his future!!
Now, I feel the competition has come to a point that the voting will not be based on one week's performances, janta have seen so much of every contestant that now it'll be hard to ignore past performances of a contestant in deciding who stays and who gets eliminated. Therefore, for me also, based on this week's and previous performances, bottom 2 next week should be Binny and Punit! and I'll be happy if anyone of them go coz I don't want to see both of them in the final. Final four should be: Amar, Shakti, Dharmesh and Amrita!
