A shopping escapade!
TNN, Apr 4, 2010, 12.00am ISTThe two-day exhibition, Aarna, organised by entrepreneur duo Kunjan Budhiraja and Kainaz Mehta and inaugurated by Devita Saraf had it all under one roof — accessories, bags, shoes, jewellery, clothes, home dcor items and all that would make a woman happy! Add to that, a pampering room where the ladies could put their feet up — literally — and just relax with rejuvenating spa and salon treatments.
Walking around with smiles on their faces and cash notes to spend were Mandira Bedi, Rashmi Nigam, Shveta Salve, Meghna Naidu, Anita Hasanandani, Eva Grover (who was spotted on the social circuit after ages), Masaba and Deepali Goenka. Among the 40 hand-picked stalls and designers showcasing their talents were Nisha Merchant, Swapnil Shinde, Preeti Jhawar, Varsha Bhawnani, Priya Awasthi, Nimita Shroff, Divya Anand. Aryan Vaid played the perfect husband as his wife strolled from stall to stall. Rajesh Khera was among the few men there. Truly, the perfect way to spend the long weekend!
