DMG is all about RIDDHIMA..

This is the synopsis of the storyline as posted on this forum in the About section of Dill Mill Gaye.

Dill Mill Gayye is a show aimed at the urban educated youth. Set in the backdrop of a hospital it deals with the pressures, the drama, the romance, the inter personal relationships and humour in the lives of young doctors. Keeping the environment of a hospital in mind, the characters of the show are real, their issues are believable and the approach is dramatic, but never unreal, albeit emotional and fun filled. Hence, our protagonist Riddhima is a 21-year-old intern with dreams and aspirations of becoming a top class doctor. like any other youngster of today, she has spunk and the spirit to have fun. What sets her apart is her ability to ride through the roughest storms relying on the honesty and integrity, which has been a part of her upbringing. Riddhimma has all the ingredients of being a competent yet compassionate doctor and her faith never falters when following the right path be it a complex medical case or a real life situation. Also, alongside Riddhima we have some other young characters, representing the wide and varied lifestyles in India. The spitfire, focused and at times selfish Anjali, the rich, charming and laid-back lover boy Armaan, the anxious to please very Gujrati and a middle class girl Sapna and the always sweet appealing to all girls is Atul. These 4 along with Riddhima will take us through the various ups- and downs of todays focused yet fun filled youth.

It states clearly that Riddhima is the protagonist (lead role). Armaan is down the line in one of the 4 supporting characters. Also Sid automatically becomes part of the supporting interns. Now it makes more sense as to why Riddhima is suffering and everything is revolving around her. Its her life and she has to take her own decisions. It was considered by many as Armaan-Riddhima show, now its being considered as Sid-Riddhima show. Nothing is hard-coded. This statement is clear that this show is about her and her choices in life.

DMG is always connected through ARMAAN N RIDDHIAM... IF riddhima ya ARMAAN names are mention the other name follows by.. so its Basically AR... ARMAAN & RIDDHIMA are the HEART & SOUL of DMG.. Sirf EK dil ka kay kare,... If two hearts meats then its said to be DIL MILL GAYYE .. you can't say that with single heart. 😊

Thanks, this is a valid perception but as you see Armaan and RIddhima moved on to their own track for sometime. Riddhima stayed on the scene and Armaan disappeared. Sid came on the scene from nowhere and coupled with Riddhima, then Armaan came back. So between AR and SR only R is common. Why can't we believe that is the story of Riddhima and no matter its Armaan she loves or Sid she marries, she is the one who is going through this hell. She is the one who going to choose whom to stay with. Is it not so?
