Ha..ha..it amuses me to see most of the topic end up taking an AR or SR turn!!! Why??

The topic was made to gain some understanding on the character Ridhima! Whether this confusing character baffles others too! Thank God for some unbiased (non SR/AR) views!

We know the phone/letter has never been used properly in serials. Whenever they are used, it is mainly for miscommunication ...to cause some misunderstanding!! 😉 Maybe that's the reason Armaan thought of personally coming and surprising Ridhima!!

It is very difficult to change one's views, as we hardly listen to other's points. In fact we already start countering the points in our mind while the other person is trying to explain! So I guess, while everybody will HOLD ON to their respective views, we would expect Ridhima to MOVE ON! 😃

Firstly, you'll never get to understand the character. Just give up. It'll save your time. 😛

Now, Just forget about her marriage and love.

Think of the 2 and a half years, when she was in love with Armaan. The LOVE , all the members are talking about. The LOVE for which she cried in every episode.

1. Where was that Love, when she used to say harsh things to Armaan and then he used to leave Sanjeevni forever (and then come back again later😛). Every other month they used to make him run away and then Ridhhima used to REALISE his LOVE for her. This used to happen every other or alternate month. She never leant from her mistakes.

2. She was never sure of her relationship with Armaan. When she first confessed, she asked him to hide it from everyone, coz she wasn't sure. Then when Sanjeevni was in crisis, she contemplated for weeks to let Armaan know about it. Which meant she dint trusted him. Then when they were about to get married, she wasn't even sure at that time. GOD!!! The girl is highly confused or Dumb should I say. Why to waste 2.5 years when she's not sure?

3. Now comes the most important part. Who told her to shout 'RAPE RAPE' in the hospital in front of the whole staff. No sane girl do that. Only girls or aunties in Ekta's Show go n shout things in parties and weddings and public places. The girl never used her brain. She reacts b4 giving a thought to the situation. Wonder how she's the best intern??? The whole Marriage thing was cz of her stupid act.

4. Now when the wedding happened, and Armaan was nowhere in scene. AND she started to develop feelings for SID. I supported her that even she has the right to forget her past and move on. Coz only we and CV's knew by the ads/promos/IF that Armaan will come back. Ridhhima-the-Character dint knew about it. For her Armaan was never to come back and Sid is her future. She's MARRIED to him. Thats the end to it.

5. Now comes your questions about why dint she asked him about his illness. Well, thats what the character is about. Dumb and confused. But on the other hand even Armaan dint asked anyone that how is Ridhhima Alive? When she was supposed to be dead.

But then ..Thats DMG for you. Full of CRAP!!!!!!!!

Yes, you are right, I think I have to give up on the Ridhima's present characterisation!

Personally I can't think of two years because I came to know about this serial 6 months back when there was lot of news about KSG. So out of curiosity I started watching DMG from the beginning in YouTube. And boy, I was hooked onto Armaan and Ridhima's chemistry.

I somehow can't agree with your point no. 1. Although Ridhima said lot of harsh things during the initial stages but at that time Armaan was at fault most of the times (his betting, helping Muskan by posing as her fianc without Ridhima's knowledge). Any girl under those circumstances will blast the guy and it is justified too. One can't forget that she even went to Kasauli to bring him back. Now that is LOVE. I can even understand her hesitancy in acknowledging their love in public as she realized she is in love and needed some time to accept it. It happens with many of us and in fact all this made this serial a very plausible, realistic one.

But her present day behaviour, her drastic switch from a wailing and running after Armaan mode to 'why have you come back' mode really loses all credibility and one wonders whether she really deserved Armaan!

See....You havn't watched the episodes right from the beginning. You obv wont have got the links to each n every episode on youtube.

You dont know how the character Ridhhima has behaved. Agreed she went to Kasauli. And what did she told him at that time? That she is not sure what is between them.🤢 To break his heart? NOBODY asked her to go to Kasauli. She realised it herself after shouting at her LOVE. Why cant she realise it b4 his leaving? Then again, You talking about the wrongs which Armaan DID. OK. Why not give him a chance to explain the reason behind his deeds? Muskaan's help wasn't even an issue. She just dint gave him a chance to explain. And infact she never gave him a chance. She just speaks too much.

Now coming to her present day behaviour. She was wailing for Armaan when she wasn't married to Sid. Now she's asking Armaan as to why he has come back, coz she is married to Sid. If she would have been Unmarried. She wouldn't have done that. You missed a major part? She got married to Sid in between all the drama. Now Marriage is certainly a big thing in Indian Culture.

But then Again, I am not defending Armaan againts Ridhhima or Riddhima against Armaan. Its just that both the chracaters have done stupid things. And the CV's left it for us to imagine and ponder over it. All their bloopers and the defects in scripts.

Every character in DMG has done things which was beyond me. But Ridhhima is the sure shot winner amongst them. Riddhima was, is and will remain DUMB forever.

I agree to Bluesoul's page 8 topic's first point..

She was always uncertain abt her relationship with Armaan.. Her insecurity and confusions were never ending.. I just don't happen to like such kinda love where the girl is in tension 24x7.. What kinda love is it if she's sad all the time.. or say for 80% of their gold days..

It was always abt some meaningless repetitive Nok-Jhok's and Ruthna-Manana of AR since last 1 yr or so.. It was highly boring.. That's why I even loved Abhi-Niki's diff kinda love-story..

Anyways, SR love is more intense and focussed.. So as of now, I am madly in love with Sidhima 😃
